Ok, imagine you're comic accurate Clark Kent and you're a working-class immigrant raised on a farm. You grow up and dedicate your life to helping people while being a total malewife to your Pulitzer prize winner girlfriend. You're despised and targeted by an unethical, megalomaniacal billionaire who thinks his intellect and his power and his wealth entitles him to your inherent abilities and the adoration you've earned through years of nonstop altruism. YOU WERE CREATED BY TWO JEWISH MEN IN THE 1930S
And then people complain about a movie about you being too woke
A reminder, 80s Lex Luthor was literally based on Trump.
You have got to be making stuff up
Right?
In the latest Comic Book Legends Revealed, discover if Lex Luthor in Man of Steel was based on Donald Trump!
Be afraid. Be very afraid.
Sad thing is, Lex is actually MORE ethical than Trump. When Lex ran for president he actually gave up control of his companies, unlike Trump.
@maswartz not only that, he gave them up to Talia al Ghul, essentially giving all of LexCorp’s resources to Ra’s al Ghul!!
his 1950's ass would not know what genderfluid means
Shadow: What do you mean there’s more than 2 genders? The f*ck is a non-binary?!
I am spoiling the live action Lilo & Stitch. And I am doing it up front and plainly.
Do not fucking see this movie. Do not waste your money on this. Period.
They made Nani give Lilo up to the American government. They made Nani LEAVE Hawaii and pursue being a marine biologist. They made a native Hawaiian character give up her sibling to pursue a dream that she originally did not have. This is imperialist propaganda at its FINEST.
The original fucking movie is about family staying together. It's about indigenous people being able to stay with each other and stay in their home and be together! That's the whole fucking point! Nani is Lilo's last living relative on her homeland—it is jarring, it is disgusting and disturbing that Nani would not only leave her last blood relative alone, give her up to the very government that is harming native Hawaiians TODAY, but also travel to the "mainland" for her dream!
Not to mention, Nani's actress isn't fucking Hawaiian. She's much paler in photos and real life. They fucking darkened her for this movie.
Don't even get me started on the transgender subtext of Pleakley's "human" disguise from the original movie being completely erased in favor of him being played by a regular ass white man. Jumba doesn't have his accent, they made him more villainous, and his "human" disguise is a non-fat white man—which part of his original joke, I know, is that he was bigger and was more clumsy in the movie because of his size, but to have the main shape of his character completely removed is also fucking weird.
This live action movie is a desecration to the original. I encourage you to not see it, please. Don't give Disney any of your money on this one. Just watch the original. Please just watch the original.
The new message in the live action movie is disturbing and gross.
This is one of the most disrespectful live actions I've seen and heard of. I implore you to not watch it.
Thank you for doing the true Disney community a service, good sir

Green Tea Family Epilogue
Even though it is a shame that they didn't adopt Eri in the end, I am just so glad that the epilogue and one-shot focused on them. Thank you, Horikoshi.

Izuku and Ochako whenever someone hurts Eri
Kaminari Subbing In
Dedicated to @chapelseed, @rex101111, and the Eri's Bully prompt written by @absolutescribbles
Kaminari is asked to attend a meeting with Eri's principal since Izuku and Ochako are busy with their internships. He enters an office to see a woman in her fifties with a big mole on her right cheek.
???: My name is Mrs. Takanuchi. I've been an educator for years... and in that time, I've seen a lot of bad eggs. I say ''eggs'' because at the elementary level, we are not dealing with fully-developed individuals. I see a bad egg when I look at your niece. She is a twiddler, a dreamer, a silly heart and she is a jabberbox. And, frankly... I don't think she takes a thing in her life or her career as a student seriously.
Kaminari:.....She's seven.
Mrs. Takanuchi: That is not a valid excuse! I hear that every day and I dismiss it.
Kaminari (realizing what kind of a person she is and getting angry): I don't think I want to know a seven-year-old who isn't a dreamer, or a silly heart. And I sure don't want to know one who takes their student career seriously. I'm at the bottom of my class in terms of academics. My Quirk isn't even that great. But I know a good kid when I see one. Because they're ALL good kids, until dried-out, brain-dead skags like you drag them down and convince them they're no good. (stands up glaring at Mrs. Takanuchi) You so much as scowl at my niece, or any other kid in this school, and I hear about it, and I'm coming looking for you! (fishes into his pocket and pulls out a single coin) Take this yen, go downtown, and have a rat gnaw that thing off your face! (smirks at the look of shock on her face) Good day to you, madam.
Jaune, looking at his beautiful wife sleep next to him with their baby in her arms:……how did a guy like me managed to get a woman like you……holy shit, am I Krillin?
Pyrrha, opening her eyes: What?
Pyrrha: Who's Krillin?
Jaune: You sure you wanna know?
Pyrrha: Maybe?
Jaune: At least I'm not Yamcha.
Pyrrha: I don't know who this Yamcha is, but he sounds disappointing.
Pyrrha: Wait….are you blackmailing me?
Cardin, coyly: Yep. I was going to do this to Jaune but that didn’t work, but then I remembered that I could probably do it to you too.
Pyrrha:……
Cardin: Now if you don’t do everything I tell you to do then I’ll tell everyone Jaune is a fraud. And by everything, I mean everything~
Pyrrha:……..
*suddenly Cardin’s body locks in place completely*
Cardin: What the!
Pyrrha, doing warm up kicks: You’re wearing metal armor you know.
Cardin, nervous: Uh……
Pyrrha: Probably not the best idea to threaten me like that.
Cardin, awkwardly: H-hey now, I w-was only joking.
Pyrrha: *still doing warm up kicks*
Cardin: W-what are you going to-
*suddenly moves Cardin’s armor so his legs are spread out*
Cardin, panicked: WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT!
How we all wish it went

Godzilla: kong, i've been meaning to ask you about your human child
Kong: jia? What about her?
Godzilla: she is also the child of the human female, correct?
Kong: ilene? Yes?
Godzilla: how did you mate with your human female ilene and make a human child? Wouldnt she be part ape?
Kong:...you think ilene and i made jia?
Godzilla: well yes. Is that not how procreation works
Kong: jia is adopted.
Godzilla:..uh huh.. i'm sorry can you explain?
Kong: okay. This is gonna take a while
Godzilla has no idea how mammals work
Godzill: WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DONT LAY EGGS!?
😅
Bro is overreacting, somebody should calm his ass down. He's a reptile, and Kong's a mammal.
Go ask Mothra, Goji. 😏
Godzilla: did you know they dont eggs!?
Mothra: wait, so what, does a child just appear?
@gorillageek27
My guess is Mothra, being the mama/grandma of the Kaijus, knows a majority of how other beings work and breed.

How I'm spending my Saturday Afternoon
Guess who I'm spending my afternoon with!
No Cutting
The Straw Hats have docked on an island where a small town is. While the others are off doing their thing, Luffy and Nami are waiting in line at a restaurant.
Luffy: Man, I can't wait to cook some local grub. I hear this place is famous for their seafood. Nami: Luffy, you know Sanji can cook any meal you want, right? Also, you can catch any fish you want when we're out at sea. Luffy: I know, but it's part of the experience. Besides, I'm sure it won't be long before we get a table. We just gotta keep a cool head.
Just then, a random guy bumps in front of them.
Rando: Oops! I "tripped" right into the line. This always happens when I'm hungry. I mean, I'm already here. Might as well let fate run its course.
At that moment, Luffy goes Gear 4, grabs the guy by the collar, and gives a murderous glare.
Luffy: BACK OF THE LINE, SHITHEAD! Rando: AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!
Luffy reverts back to normal to see an open path towards the restaurant with the patrons looking terrified.
Luffy: Hey Nami, check it out. They're letting us go ahead of them; the folks here must be really nice, huh?
The eyebags return
But this time, they are for the best reasons.
*putting Eri's Grandpa on the top of my favorite character list, right below Eri* That's more fuckin' like it. Okay my Hating Chisaki Agenda aside, this was a more straightforwardly good chapter. It actually touched on something not a lot of manga do, what kind of memory will the villains leave behind? We always talk about the legacy of the heroes, but the "bad guys" cause so much damage and hurt so many people, of course they'll leave behind some sort of influence that will effect those who follow, for better or worse. And of course we get one final emphasis on the fact that the League, or at least the original members, were all just a bunch of wounded, angry people. Who had no where to go and no where to belong to. Who had no one but each other to lean on, which lead to them feeding off each other's pain and negativity and spiral downwards. But the public don't know this, or at least most of them don't, and even those that do wouldn't really care because the end result was that so many people got hurt and killed. And of course the peak of this is when surrounded by all the negative ideas about Shigaraki from people who, while deeply effected by his actions, don't know him at all, we get an answer to the question at the title of this chapter from the one of the few people who actually knew who Tomura Shigaraki was:
Spinner doesn't try and justify anything, or make excuses, he simply says the truth. That, to him, Shigaraki was the only person he could rely on, the only person who knew him and wanted him to be his friend. Tomura Shigaraki was and will always be a villain to just about every other person in this story, but he was human too. For whatever that's worth.
Chisaki's ultimate punishment: Watching Eri, the girl he tormented, grow up living her best life while he rots away in a jail cell
