I have gone way too long on tumblr to not make one and its starting to annoy me, my blog feels disorganised so here ya go.

Hello new and returning visitors of my blog. I'm Jessie but more likely you'll see me refered to as the doffy fucker and I refer to myself as such. (main tags also start with 'the fucker' for this reason.) Rarely do i go by my name and while it is accepted, doffy fucker is prefered.
I have chronic insomnia, OCD, Autism and probably C-Ptsd. I do not tolerate mockery of these subjects, towards me or others.
Anyway mental health warning aside.
I recently started writing as a hobby and therefore am not very good at it. There will probably be grammatical errors in my work and while i do allow constructive criticism.. Don't be a cunt about it :D
On the topic of what I allow. Anything such as transphobia, homophobia, or general hate is not allowed here. And if you don't like selfshipping then why the fuck are you here..
ANYONE is allowed on my blog unless they're under 18, so please keep that in mind.
Moving onto interests. My main ones consist of anime and gaming and I've been doing both for a very long time.
My favourites for each are as follows.
Anime: One piece(obvious) Jujusu kaisen, jojos bizarre adventure, and yugioh(og)
I also tend to get emotionally attached to certain characters, for example Doflamingo. Which may seem odd but I love him anyway.
Games: Stardew Valley, Hades(mostly 1), TABS, pokemon(technically) and FNAF.
I mostly post about these things but i can go a little off track as I become hyperfixated.
Aside from that this concludes the first/main part of this post. It's probably a bit shit cause it's late but hey atleast it exists.

OK so. After a lot of frantic googling I realized this was all a dream. home depot did not in fact produce a wildly successful science fiction musical. I was on allergy meds and took a nap and my brain simply prophesized this. slightly disappointed because I wanted to watch it.
a lot of people dont care about insect biomass collapse bc when they hear we are losing 2.5% of the insect biomass per year they just imagine the cockroach and housefly population decreasing by that much. they dont realize those are among the only ones that will remain unbothered
every year of restoring native plants I see a great increase in the insect populations, and loads of new insects i never saw before (all of them harmless--the insects that are harmful or parasitic on humans are the main ones being unaffected by the decrease in insect populations)
(a large part of) the problem is Plant Sameness. we must restore plant diversity
This kind of bums me out and tbh I'm tired of posting bug photos when I know that these same bugs will become harder to come by in the future.
In Singapore, large parts of forests are going to be cleared for housing soon and they have endangered/ critically endangered plants and animals. The sad thing is that I don't think most people will care.
Sure, most people can say that it's a pity, but I think most will think it's a necessary evil for the economy. There are people who are very detached from the outside, spend most of their time in buildings and only think about nature when it inconveniences them.
Signing petitions and rallying against deforestation plans can only go so far if most people don't know what a forest is.
Tumblr being the "piss on the poor" reading comprehension site makes sense when you realize that 79% of adults in the US are functionally illiterate. Same goes for Twitter and TikTok.

Being bad at something until you’re good at it is a lot easier when you’re having fun. Which is possible more often than you think it is but is also sometimes not possible unfortunately
Finally a hand sewing tutorial on a hemline that isn't just the ladder stitch! the ladder stitch disappears when you tighten it, but it's not meant for hemlines because it breaks really easily! The overlock stitch is more stable, so it holds much longer, and it won't pucker or warp the fabric!
