Crown is a Kobold with delusions of grandeur who dreams of empire.
Originally named “Meepo” as a hatchling, Crown was born under the service of a mighty dragon queen as one of hundreds of servants. Admittedly life had been rather uneventful for the young, rather unremarkable Kobold, though there was a seed of something in the little reptilian.
You see, there’s a myth of how Kobolds came to be, claiming that Kobolds are born of the blood of the first divine dragons as they cut their flesh to create their young, thus meaning they were born to be the dragon’s servants. Crown however read this very, very differently. Crown read it as Kobolds having been the proper firstborn and having their birthright stolen, yet Kobolds must prove themselves to be worthy by doing all the work? How is this any semblance of fair or wise? We do everything and we're the first born, even the first part should grant us everything we've made! This horrid state of unjust affairs cannot stand, not for Kobolds, or Goblins, or even those accursed gnomes treacherous as they are.
This led to a failed attempt at a revolution of one… So, kicked out of his colony for rebellious thoughts/attempts, Crown decided to take up a new name, and create his own kingdom, an empire even! Luckily he also quickly acquired his powerful steed, Applesauce the Wild Hog, who Crown met goring a dead adventurer and then looted the equipment alongside taming it.
An idiot savant of sorts when it comes to war, Crown relies on sheer audacity and his own standing as a Kobold to lead in a way. If a lone Kobold can charge forward, what the hell is stopping the Orc's dammit? He dreams of being an iron fisted tyrant but also accidentally falls into actually decent ideas for kingship such as thinking "Why should someone lead after I die just because they're my spawn? They should conquer the hearts of the people like I will dammit!" (I.E. democratic leadership) or "What self respecting emperor doesn't have good roads? The other kingdoms would see me as weak and poor if I let the infrastructure fail!"
His current vision of his kingdom is to create a world where the supposed "servant/grunt" races shall unite together, marching to uproot the world with him as their emperor of their unionizing empire. Obviously though he'll be such a great emperor that none shall follow him on the throne and thus the populace must settle for mere cabal of popular minor rulers under the title of government supervisors that have to work together to have the slightest semblance of his magnitude.

Az Siand, or well, technically his full name is Azzymundeus Siand since painkillers can be a hell of a drug when writing down the name of a newborn. Wizards tend to come in two flavors when they reach a certain point in arcane studies; You either get a recluse who holes themselves up in a tower, planning to show them all once they perfect their intenstines to snakes spell; and then you get the type who will pathologically press every button they see to check what it does because they are terminally curious. Granted you can get other types of mage, but these two types tend to be the ones who reach the greatest heights of magic. Az has a terminal case of the second kind and the soul of an absolute Goober.
Az's life begins in a house of negotiable affection in an oasis town on an equivalent of the Silk Road, born to a courtesan and raised thanks to the fact that the women there are basically unionized and decided to keep him. Az himself was being raised to work as an errand boy and training to be a bookkeeper, seeing many of the workers as his family and considering himself to have at least a half dozen moms and a multitude of aunts and siblings.
His life would change quite a bit though when he got his hands on a wizard's spare tome, the mage having used it as collateral for a trade in the oasis. The boy was quickly enraptured by the book, finding a talent in magic and teaching it to himself in his spare time. Az pretty quickly started poking and prodding at the fabric of reality, seeing what he could do and how he can play around with it, eventually poking through to look on the other side faster than he should've been able to.
Now what does a young man do when he finds access to the multiverse? Now many would go wild for a few years and crumble under the meaninglessness of it all as every decision flies into the wind and is swallowed by the infinite. Az has basically decided to find out how many combinations of milkshakes he can make, how many creatures enjoy getting pet under their chin, begin a novelty bubble pipe collection, and that Zumba might actually be a universal constant. Embracing the beauty in the absurdity of it all as he stumbles his way across the universe, sending money home from the occasional odd job along with a cavalcade of souvenirs.
Extra Notes:
Az isn't actually a big fan of offensive magic, usually preferring more utility spells and hedge magic. This does not mean he doesn't know any offensive spells but his collection is pretty small in comparison.
While Az is very gifted with spatial magic, he is absolutely garbage at Necromancy
Az has made a backpack of portals as a quick access interdimensional terminal for ease of travel between his favorite places that he's found. He has hired a bagman to stay in there that he has named Mr.Scruggs. Mr. Scruggs is paid with choice cuts of lamb meat.
Az's hat is actually both a spellcasting focus as well as a very intensely magical item that Az made… It's basically if you fused a bag of holding and an RV though since it's all for quality of life spells such as cleaning laundry and cooking food instantly.
Az is quite the pack rat but thanks to storing everything in the hat, no one would really guess until they actually went inside it.
Az is very bad at hiding the fact that he is a portal traveler, but the casualness causes him to typically be dismissed as joking or insane. This nonchalant attitude has saved him from many a smiting from local gods and interdimensional beings.

When she first made her way into the professional circuit she had made a big splash, riding flare and a bombastic flirty attitude to draw crowds. However pro battling, while dazzling, isn't as stable a job as it should be admittedly. With her beloved sister recently having a kid on the way, Azalea has decided she is gonna spoil that kid to become a favorite aunt. To do that, she's gonna need a more stable job, so she finally bit the bullet and went for becoming a proper gym leader. She's still pretty new to the position though, and it's been a bit of an awkward transition.

Her starter when she first became a trainer was a Stunky she named Beans, it is now a very spoiled fat Skuntank

Try to force myself to get used to actually posting. Heck I finished making a bunch of refs to get ahead for next year's artfight so why not?

Sooner or later leftists will have to deal with the issue that capitalism has made many people used to wanton excess and sooner or later we'll have to legit tell everyone we can't have plastic treats and luxury produce or cruises instantly available year round and it's gonna make so many people mad and call you a big meanie worse than stalin over it. It will not be popular at all but someone's gotta hold a firm no or the planet will never stop collapsing. We can't save the planet by living exactly how we do now just with a communist banner over it we have to take a loss sorry, shein product cycles shouldn't have been normalized to begin with.
