Hey quick question: why the FUCK do you have that
Imagine, from out of nowhere, your dm casually slapping this thing down on the table like any other encounter.
“Yeah, the fight will start in a sec, uh…I’ll give inspiration to whomever helps me get this fucking box out of my car.”

Please watch this reveal video it’s kickass

One of the I think overlooked effects of ttrpgs is that your weekend game with friends is an entirely safe space to be a conspiracy theorist. In the real world, things “just happen” - either randomly or as a result of complex factors out of your control or understanding - and it’s tempting to give them some kind of overarching motive, or place them in the hands of say, the government, because surely something this devastating has to be the result of knowledge and deliberate action
Whereas in the carefully constructed game world, things are rarely random or unconnected. There usually IS a secret cult, powerful bad guy or shadowy force of nature that connects all the dots neatly and cleanly - this seems to be a pretty modern development, incidentally, a lot of older (80s/90s or emulating the games of that era) ttrpgs love random shit happening for no reason and actively encourage you to have things that are not connected to or explainable by the main plot, whereas nowadays some otherwise respectable game designers will act like a randomised table is a scary bug that crawled out from under a rock - and putting together a murder board with your friends is just engaging with the game. The fact that the GM is retroactively tying in the connections you’ve made just exacerbates the fundamental human urge to Make Things Make Sense
To be clear I don’t know if this is Good but I am aware that it’s much more fun and less stressful when there is a conspiracy that I can understand and also stab, which gives me more empathy for the real life conspiracy theorists, but not really that much more tolerance

GIRL [in] TANKTOP
GIRL [in] TANKTOP is a card-based solo survival horror ttrpg, all about a gal surviving a space alien monster doing its classice space alien monster thing: killing people!
Draw cards as you fight for survival, adjusting your ending scores until you draw the Queen Of Spades and finally confront the monster itself! Multiple different outcomes can happen, fight for survival, look for ways to kill the monster, hope it doesn't find a way to escape, or perhaps find another side to the monster, one that you never thought you would consider...
Originally made for the 2026 Queer Game Jam over on itch!
Find it on itch, RPG Trader, and DriveThruRPG (whenever it gets reviewed)!
In a ship, stalked by a terrible monster, will you be its prey, its hunter, or will you be its lover?

Dimension 20: Neverafter — Episode 9, “Origins”
#the allegory to Black boyhood Lou brought to this character is simply unmatched by any other adaptation of pinocchio. it's That Good.
catherine might be the first game changer player who understood the assignment, immediately failed the assignment, figured out the assignment better, told everyone else the assignment, and then failed multiple times cause she truly cannot describe pictures (or name songs). player of all time. i love seeing someone who clearly gets and loves game changer and is just plain bad at games. representation for all of us.
