Yesterday, a cat appeared in our stairwell. I’m incredibly inexperienced and unsure when it comes to petting animals. I’ve never owned a pet and have always preferred watching them from a distance. However, when this little muffin showed up, we somehow bonded. Turns out, I’m not only able to pet a cat but also to hold and carry one! I was so thrilled and grateful for the hours we spent together. We put him back outside but set up a cozy corner with blankets in case he decides to come back whenever he likes. In honor of this beautiful moment, I drew this piece today; a witch with her cat.

By the way, yesterday’s cat was so well-behaved and sensitive. Very shy and cautious at first, but once he opened up, he was incredibly loving. I already miss him so much! I hope he’ll come and visit us soon.

Turning 30 very soon, and this is my version of Usagi being in her 30s. Super quick sketch with Procreate. It doesn’t matter if I’m 3 or 30, I still love 'Sailor Moon' so much. But I’m on the right platform, you guys get it, hehe. So, in the name of the moon, let the new decade be filled with love, health, happiness, peace, and financial prosperity (because a girl needs money).

I’m slowly but surely getting into the Christmas spirit, and there’s no Christmas season without watching 'Barbie in the Nutcracker.' This witch’s character design, with her blue dress and matching hat, was inspired by Clara. And, of course, her absolutely gorgeous hair (if you know, you know) couldn’t be overlooked during the drawing process. See you in a couple of weeks… or months, probably.

Okay, hear me out. This one's going to be a longer caption.

A couple of years ago, I watched "The Devil's Advocate" (1997) for the first time on TV, and it has since become one of my favorite movies.

Despite its occasional 90s movie clichés, it's an underrated thriller with supernatural horror elements that starkly reveal how easily our society's morals can be corrupted by the pursuit of superficial and monetary gains. I believe that we, as humans, would sell our souls for the right price at some point, whether it be money or something else. Of course, Al Pacino's performance is impeccable, and the chemistry between Keanu Reeves and Charlize Theron is unmatched (and if my marriage is not going to be like theirs, then I don't want it.)

Now, when the credits roll at the end of the movie, "Paint It, Black" by The Rolling Stones plays, and let me tell you: when I hear that song, I want to become a cowgirl, riding a horse through the prairie in a Tarantino-like scene. Of course, the sunset can't be missing. While I prefer the previous drawing much more (much more), I think this one captures what I feel when I listen to this amazing, soul-rocking piece of music.

Familiarity is an essential prerequisite for connecting with someone. So, for a soulmate to be one, perhaps they need to be nothing more than a mirror. Therefore, if this soulmate is merely a mirror, familiarity is immediately apparent, as we are most familiar with ourselves.

Now, for a relationship to blossom between two soulmates, they need to be willing to let go of their fears and reveal their deepest insecurities, doubts, and worries, which essentially leads to breaking the mirror to see the distorted self, the real self.

When you're lucky enough to have found your soulmate, it may come with hardships, requiring you to begin healing yourself throughout the entire process by picking up the broken pieces and reconstructing the mirror. The repaired mirror may show scars at the end, but you will ultimately experience the purest and deepest love possible by seeing your healed self. Then, the results are not only that you're being loved but that you love yourself.

I need to go to bed already and stop with the philosophical chatter, but let me tell you, I haven't had such a great drawing flow in a very long time!

Me, aiming at the first six months of 2024 that have been messing up my mental health and every other area of my life to an interesting level.

July, please be the pivotal month of transformation and change, because I don’t want to be a sad bitch anymore (though I'm not going to give up being a lover girl, a sucker for knowledge, and anything art-related).

I created this digital painting of a woman in bed in August 2022. It's one of the few art pieces of mine that I can look at without experiencing the universal artist's feeling of cringing to death when looking at older work. I've always admired artists who display their own work in their homes, and I did the same with this piece. It's been hanging on my wall for two weeks now, and I love how it complements the interior and overall feel of the room.

(And please, for the sake of the aesthetics, listen to this song by PinkPantheress. I’ve been listening to it 50 times in a row for the past 24 hours and I still can’t get enough of it. I’m not kidding, this shit boosts my dopamine levels to the max. Everything about it is just so satisfying.)

Romeo & Juliet | Act III, Scene V

Art thou gone so? love, lord, ay, husband, friend! I must hear from thee every day in the hour, For in a minute there are many days: O, by this count I shall be much in years Ere I again behold my Romeo!

When I was 14 years old, I read Shakespeare's most popular piece for the very first time. Ever since then, I cannot think of a more beautiful (and sometimes delusional) dialogue between two people in love with each other.

Another year, another drawing. But let's do some straight talking about what has been going on for the past couple of months.

Denying a people's right to existence and questioning the universal validity of human rights, while at the same time claiming to be outraged about the ever-growing fascist movement and ongoing abolition of democracies in the world, has made me feel more skeptical about the bright and peaceful future we grew up believing we would experience one day. The hypocrisy baffles me.

I simply cannot comprehend the level of numbness and ignorance people put on display. The West lacks a moral compass and always has. We condemn atrocities committed against our (what we think to be undisputed) values while continuing crimes against those very same values, all in the name of greed and exploitation, backed up by the internalized racism and hatred of the masses against marginalized groups.

This drawing symbolizes our generation's despair. Our heart is the once-so-highly-held belief in a promising future, pierced by the arrow of hopelessness that is slowly but surely making us blind and miserable, turning our surroundings into nothing but a dark void. This overwhelming feeling, as well as the current economic circumstance, have been leading us into a state of paralysis and constant worry, making us feel like complete failures the older we get since we have not achieved an illusion of life that was sold as reality to us.

In conclusion: Stand up for what we've been taking for granted and spread some love, y'all.

It‘s been a long time. Life gets in your way, drawing becomes less of a priority.

Not today, though. Not today. A couple of days ago, I heard the song “Feeling yummy x righteously” by Ayesha for the very first time. I’ve seen the viral video of London’s (or the internet’s) tube girl. If feminine energy had to be described by a song, it’d be that one. Hot, sexy, bold, soft, fearless, strong.

I wanted to draw something close to what I feel when listening to it. While I had a complete different character design in mind, I’m satisfied with her.

Current mood because summer’s coming to an end. It shows one of my characters, a witch. Creating this video took longer than animating it. It was driving me crazy! Anyways, enjoy it.
