my favourite part of the Hozier concert was how, with most artists I've seen, they introduce songs with personal anecdotes like, "I wrote this song when I went through a terrible break up in spring" etc but Mr Andrew Hozier gets up on stage and says something like, "so this song is about lucifer and god being trapped in Dante's Inferno and hating every minute only to find when they leave that they miss one another dearly" or he talks about the solidarity politics in his music and I genuinely love that so much and I hate how much of that element of his artistry is lost in the weird tiktokification of his music
You got it!
