This animation is maybe one of the most gorgeous things I've ever seen and has been in my head for days. Personally, the second half struck me the hardest, for sure.

Apo literally taking Cherri on a journey away from her home to keep her safe and risking her own life and everything to make sure Cherri stays safe, Cherri occasionally strays from Apos care but always comes back and vise versa. Cherri running to catch up with Apo only to lead the sprint is stunning work. Amazingly done.
"Learn to leave your shaded hollow?" Cowboys
Cb!Hellfire starts with Cherri threatening to Kill Apo if Cherri can't carry the bounty out on Apos father, who is missing, obviously . They start working together and Apo tried to pay back Cherri to keep herself alive and in the process they grow really close. Cherri dragging Apo, Apo initially being unsure and afraid before she gets a good look at Cherri and getting to know her, becoming filled with joy... augh.
"Will you greet the daylight looming?" Cobblemon, which I am unfortunately not caught up with.

KILL ME NOW!!! <- guy with an obvious favourite (I really like vampire narratives, ok. + also V!Apo)
The learn to love without consuming definitely has a double meaning to it in this context, without a doubt.
Ofc Apo is a vampire and doesn't want to hurt Cherri to the point where she even debated if she should go home at all out of the fear, even though she wouldn't. She was scared.
But also I think part of it is like Apos time away from Cherri left her desperate in a sense for Cherri and so its about going back home, changed, and having to learn to love like she didn't go through all that trauma at Oakhurst and like she didnt experience hell and back and die and kill people and with the constant knowledge that she may/will outlive Cherri.
Same for Cherri, with Apo coming home after being apart and having to not only push aside her fear but also love carefully after learning what Apo went through and after coming to terms with it, allowing Apo to process and come to terms and exist peacefully since I'm sure shes also full of regret.
Overall the line is sickening in regards to V!HellFire. It applies to them both for different reasons and the visual of Apo running towards Cherri in desperation only to see the relief and joy as they finally hold eachother and Cherri lays against Apos chest with tears in her eyes is so gut wrenching /positive. Do you think she noticed the lack of heartbeat in Apos chest or was she simply happy to welcome her home?
