Paid Freelance Writing Job
Hey everyone! For the past month I’ve been writing for Blasting News–it’s a news website recently bought by Google, and in the top 200 most visited websites in the world.
It’s kind of like the Odyssey, meaning you can post almost anything you want and as (in)frequently as you are able, except they actually pay you, depending on how many people click on your article, up to $150. I’ve written 11 articles so far, and my best one has already made $30.
Right now if you sign up using this link, on top of whatever you’d make on articles you get an extra $5 per article for your first 5 articles.
It’s a pretty decent way to make a bit of side money writing, while also getting a byline with your name on it. Trust me, having both of those, or even one of those, is pretty rare. It’s an easy way of making money while also working at home, especially if you’re a student, since you get to make your own schedule.
And for anyone who is curious, here’s my profile, with all the articles I’ve written. Some of the things I’ve written about are the historical women who inspired Fox’s new drama, Pitch, how glow in the dark trees might be a viable replacement to street lights, Bill Nye’s new TV show with Netflix, and why Ted Cruz’s campaign was doomed from the start because it was unconstitutional. Like I said, you can write pretty much whatever you want, like video game reviews or tv show reviews.
How much you’re paid can really vary, but the fact that you are being paid more than just “exposure” can count for a lot. You can both get paid and put “Digital Editorial Staff” on your resume.
