I can’t decide which version I like best.. enjoy!
Yay! A new arts. This one is Noice again. Love my baby <3
Why does it always have to END like this?
I thought NieR: Automata was a beautiful game. As such, I drew a heartbreaking piece for it... </3 Definitely on my top 5 games list.
me, as a relationship counselor: have u tried using the 😘emoji?
Fun story--that emoji is set as the chat emoji for my boyfriend and I on Facebook messenger (our primary communication app), and there have been several times where in the middle of a semi heated argument he has accidentally pressed that button and it made me bust my ass laughing. That emoji has solved conflicts, mended feelings, and saved lives. 😚

Took some time to draw an illustrated piece of Mordecai, since he has never gotten one. Only I know what letter he’s reading, and it isn’t a nice one…3

Yay for doodle dumps <3
Hello yes I am alive, and I am very much in love with Noctis 😍 However, my drawing tablet is out of commission for now :c not sure what's up. Going to buy a new pen and see if that works!
one of my favorite tidbits about speedrunning that comes up every time the games done quick marathons come around is how Wind Waker speedruns are about five hours long because of the giant wall in Hyrule that actually forces the runner to play the game because they’ve been throwing shit at this wall for over a decade and still can’t figure out a way past it. the wall in hyrule is entirely unglitchable and the only way past it is to play the game properly. the speedrun would be like one hour if they could get past this wall but nope, it’s five hours. fuck the wall.
and the comedy of this situation is exponentially amplified the more you know about skips and glitches in speedruns in general
as examples of how broken WW is elsewhere, you can clip through walls and go out of bounds to skip entire dungeon sequences pretty much anywhere with a ledge, use the Wind Waker to enter a state where you ignore physics and swim at 5000 miles an hour, and even fly infinitely into the sky after dying like some kind of helium zombie. do you know how many games could be broken wide open by an infinite height trick? TTYD would shave off 3 or 4 hours.
but this fucking barrier around Hyrule Castle, against all odds, is just completely insurmountable with any of this. Ganondorf is literally the most successful and powerful villain in gaming history and this Super Extendo Fuck You Shield™ is a shining testament to it
Reblogging because about a month and half ago there was a claim made that someone finally managed to get passed the barrier.
The kicker though? The glitch requires the Iron Boots, the effort needed to get them means that the glitch might only shave off 5 mins as opposed to the whole hour previously could be saved. Worse, the glitch to do it only exists in the HD re-release which means it is unusable for those who prefer the original Gamecube version.
The even better kicker: the devs made the wall infinite in some directions as a joke. It wasn't really necessary for the sanctity of the game, they just let it run forever (in the up direction, I believe). Not only that, but you CAN get through the first layer of the wall as there are two walls that actually block access. But the second one is infinitely high so you can't even do the bomb trick that allows you to gain a lot of vertical movement by nearing death.
That highlight though.

Just in case anyone wasn’t clear, this is blackface
It's actually a skin condition called vitiligo and anyone of any color can get it. It occurs when your body's white blood cells attack the melanin in your skin cells and they turn white (melanin produces color). Even white people can get it (though it's not as noticeable for obvious reasons). It's both hereditary and stress related. I have it, my dad has it, my uncle has it. We are all of Indian descent (I am half white). It is actually not very well perceived in the public, as people often gawk or think you're weird (common nicknames include the description cow). It does not hurt--it is only "skin-deep". Vitiligo can be combatted with some forms of medication, stress relieving techniques, etc. The more you know.

be nice to puppers
This is also why many people think cats can’t be trained. Cats do not respond well to aggressive training techniques
Alpha wolves are real. It does exist that way in wolf packs. And they DO use violence to correct actions of other wolves (mainly pups but usually the alpha female does that). The ticket though, is that MOST of the reason that the wolf packs (aka families, because they are usually all related except alpha male and female, or young pups were adopted into the pack) is respect. The other wolves respect the alphas. They love them. There are reprimanded for incorrect actions, but they are not always physical. And this doesn't mean we should treat our dogs that way. But dogs aren't as smart as wolves, in fact, they deviate a lot from the typical wolf behavior. Still, humans can learn a lot from the way alphas run their packs. We know that hierarchy exists because without the alpha male and female, the pack either chooses new ones or degrades (the latter happens if both are lost especially). Like I said, usually wolf packs consist of wolves that are related. Any males in the pack either become betas or run off to find a mate from another pack and start their own family. They almost never challenge the existing alpha regardless of physical disability. There are plenty of examples of physically weak or handicapped wolves who are alphas. Violence within the pack is almost unheard of, and in my experience more often occurs between females. Even when it does, the pack sides with the wolf that has the higher status and usually the other wolf runs away (alternative is death by the pack) to find a mate from another pack to form her own. The best way to train a dog is to follow the example of wolves--set clear boundaries. Your dog should be taught what is ok and what is not ok from an early age. Socialize. Teach them hierarchy and what it means to be part of a pack. Dogs and wolves are highly social creatures and respond very well to positive interaction. Be a good alpha. This means to lead, not to intimidate. An alpha is a leader, and they work just as much as the rest of the pack. They are respected out of love, and are often irreplaceable in a packs structure (unless there is dire need). Alphas come in all shapes and sizes, don't be fooled. There is also always a male and female alpha, so don't let the idea that it has to be a male wolf fool you. Lots of times poorly trained dogs don't get the information they need at the vital age of 1 year or younger. This is when wolf packs establish rules for the pups, and oh man they are clear as fuck about the rules. Humans need to make the effort to understand dogs and their psychology, often time the misinformation and misunderstanding leads to insecure dogs which use aggression (it's all they know) to solve their problems. Cats are the complete opposite. Cats do not function in a social hierarchy. Cats can cohabitate and learn from one another, but they do not form social bonds in the same ways as wolves. Cats can also survive on their own, wolves cannot. And dogs will certainly die if left on their own (though some can kind of reform packs, most common dogs will die if released into the wild). I can't offer advice for training cats, but understanding animals has a lot to do with knowing how they communicate and what their signals mean. So if you are planning to own an animal, do some research. What does it mean when my cat attacks me? Why do they do that? Why is my dog aggressive when I pick up his food bowl? Etc. You can learn and fix almost every psychological issue with an animal. It just takes patience and time.
