Lillie said, though it came out like a question more than a statement. The ferocious plant beast looked strangely affectionate towards that name. Perhaps it reminded Anthimultus of the flower? Either way, Lillie still felt bewildered by this plant-like monster.

She smiled nervously.

“I l-like you t-too?”

          There’s suddenly a plethora of giddy, hiss-y noises from the living jungle as several living vines suddenly extend from underneath the humand and brush against her shoulders, like an animal nuzzling their head against her shoulders. It seems that the creature was easy to please, at least, and it was visible in the way that snake-like head seemed to grin and giggle like a child.

          “You like Anthimultus! Kehee! Anthimultus made a new friend! Lillieeee is new friend! Anthimultus will protect Lillie now! Protect Lillie for being a good friend! Hssk!”

The Precipet backs off as the unknown Pokemon got uncomfortably close to it. Already, dark clouds are starting to form as Alexander anticipates a battle.

“W-whoa! Not so close!” Alex cried, with Xander adding, “Back off!”

          Hissing suddenly, the snake-head slithers away from the little creature and its strange, dark clouds.

          “Hss! Careful, you almost hit Anthimultus with... that.” Pay no mind to the fact that you were ignoring personal space boundaried, Anthimultus. “What are you? Anthimultus has not SEEN you before...”

“You DARE insult my heritage?” 

The feathers along his back arose, vexation grappling at the Lord’s sanity. Inane creature! Oooh, how he loathed this…abnormality. Its very own appearance was repulsive! As the heinous sight further on repeated his name, he couldn’t help but grimace at the impulsive demand. 

“You shall address me by my honorary title, little fool.”

          “That IS your honorary title. LARK. Good name, short, to the point. Other one too long. Expecting too much of ANTHIMULTUS.”

          Although its words came out in a way that suggested it wasn’t exactly feeling threatened, several loud rustlings in nearby bushes suggested the presence of something notably bigger nearby. Just in case.

           “Anthimultus not a fan of longer title. no point to it. You’re all food and annoyances to Anthimultus anyways.”

"D-Don't eat me- !! I taste bad-!!" Cue a little lemon boy curling into a ball , hugging his knees to his chest , neck craned and head down ... does it even eat humans?

          “H’aaaaaah???” Questioned the snake-like appendage of Anthimultus, currently encircling the boy that had traveled into its parasitic habitat; not necessarily hungry, but finding plenty of amusement is merely teasing him like he was just some sort of toy. In the end, it didn’t want to eat him - but what’s the harm in making him think that it did??

          “Aaaah! Lemonssss? Anthimultus LIKES lemons~!! Kehee!! What’s wrooong?” A living vine stretched forward to gently prod the boy’s shoulder as the toothy-grinning plant enjoyed itself~!

“M-my… name?”

Lillie asked, gulping in an attempt to lower her anxiousness. She fiddled with her fingers for a bit before finally stuttering her reply.

“Lillie. M-my name is L-Lillie.”

          “Lillieeeeee?” It repeated, its words sounding just the slightest bit toxic at first before beginning to shift into something more... dreamy. Dreamy and affectionate. It seems to like that name.

          “Lillie.. Lillie... Lillieeee!~ Like the FLOWER. FLOWER HUMAN. Lillieee... that’s your name, yes! Kehehe, Anthimultus LIKES Lillie!!”

          Whether or not it ‘liking’ her was a good thing remains to be known, but for the most part it does seem to be holding back any urge or desire to eat her, so that’s a plus!

Lillie exclaimed, letting out a sigh of relief. She nervously gave Anthimulus a faint smile, though she was still shaking.

“D-do you need anything to heal y-you up? I… I have some p-potions, if you’d l-like…”

         “Hssss... potion? What’s that?”

         Was that one of those weird, bottle-like things with stingy liquid? It tried eating one of those things once, and all things considered it was not a very pleasant meal.

         “Eehhh.. Anthimultus will pass. Not really hungry, little girl!” Though, it would mind eating her. Still, it would stay true to its previous ‘forgiveness’, and accept her apology.

         “What is your NAME? Little one.. stepping on Anthimultus, has a name, yesss???”

The very small puffball waddles in, with a very small, plastic watering can and just. Casually begins to try to water one of the others appendages.

          Is contemplating whether or not to eat the little pink blob that had wandered into its territory for the sole purpose of watering it.

          …. Well.

          It was thirsty. So clearly the only thing Anthimultus can do now is just AFFECTIONATELY NUZZLE the little puffball with its snake-like head while PURRING.

          “Frieeeeeend.”

After contemplating bashing his plume against a tree until it was nothing but shattered polymer and orange blood, Xurkitree turned around and faced the disgusting tree.

“… Macaroni and cheese. It was a great big bag ‘f macaroni and cheese, babe.”

          “Macaroni in cheese??? That was ssssssooooo~ good! You should bring ANTHIMULTUS more MACARONI and CHEESE sometime!! It was good!! Delicious!! Sloppy and creamy!!~~ Mmmmmh!!!”

          Oh, you thought it was over? This was your mistake, Xurkitree. You brought this upon yourself.

Did you know Xurkitree can shudder? Me neither! Xurk sure as fuck just found out, considering the way every single one of his cables crawled with deep-seated, VISCERAL DISGUST at the sound of the plant’s NASTY ASS eating sounds.

          Within several (excrutiatingly  long) seconds, the ‘garbage’ was gone and Anthimultus looked rather pleased. Its head tips as it stares at the cringing Xurkitree with confusion and thoughtfulness. “That was deliciousssssss, what was in it??? “

"Babe! Need you to dispose 'a somethin' for me, don't ask what it is, don't open the bag, and DON'T try to pull some 'ANTHIMULTUS DOES NOT EAT PLASTIC' because I have WATCHED your gross ass eat and I know for a goddess damned FACT you do." Xurk drops a... really big, dripping, and sloshing garbage bag in front of a plant mouth then turns around. He doesn't wanna see this.

          Anthimultus has absolutely no idea what this is. It has no idea what’s in it, whether or not it’s toxic or pollutants, or whether or not it will kill them if ingested. That does not stop it at all from lurching over it with a large, snake-like appendage, literally unhinging its jaw to scoop up the entire bag of sloshy, rubbishy goodness, and eating it all in ONE, SLURPY GULP. So loud that it would be undeniable to acknowledge that Xurkitree would hear this.

                   Yum!

     That was the closest Zeis could think of to describe Anthimultus based on what it had told him, and how it described becoming the plant life, possibly replacing it… Was it a parasite? Similar to how the Nihilego had been described to him when he was a wee Cosmog?

     That thought by itself was enough to put him on edge again, his body tensing up slightly as he’d ask again,

“I’m guessing you’re not the main body then? Is there one main Anthimultus, or?”

         “A collective? Maybe! Collection of multiple appendages! All like little minds of their own! All connected to Anthimultus! Anthimultus is shy. Anthimultus does not like to come out. Anthimultus is vulnerable otherwise!”           A sudden rustle in a nearby collection of bushes shakes before suddenly a second head sprouts out from the flora and joins the other head in its jovial twisting and turning, speaking simultaneously with the other!

          “Both of us are Anthimultus! We are BODY PARTS. Anthimultus! Kehehe! Yes, yes, you see? Anthimultust is many but one! All together in this JUNGLE. We exist to FEAST and THRIVE. Anthimultus DIES otherwise, you see??”

     Zeis was somewhat familiar with such a creation, he was aware that such beasts were being created and designed to try and act as a countermeasure to Ultra Beasts such as himself. The fact that one might be actually roaming and attacking his kin brought a shudder to Zeis’ spine, as he realized that there might be very little to stop it from targeting him.

“Say, what exactly are you, anyways? I’m afraid I’ve never seen something quite like you back home.”

          “Whaaaaaat?? You’ve never seen Anthimultus??? Well.. Anthimultus can not blame you! Anthimultus is RARE. Not often seen. You see - Anthimultus strikes from the jungles! We BECOME the flora, we grow, we become STRONG, and we EAT and FEAST as ANTHIMULTUS desires!”

          The little head began to twist and turn as it jollily explained itself as though it were telling some sort of hilarious bedtime story. It was smiling, too. In a weird, repulsive way, it was actually quite cute.

         “Anthimultus isn’t seen though! We are simply APPENDAGES of Anthimultus! We exist, part of body! Not as smart, but still ANTHIMULTUS!”

@anthimultus heard the Aria! (AKA Liked for a Starter PFFFT) Now Alavastor was the kind of Primarina to come on to land, not minding the fact that his species wasn’t very mobile on the land. He always found it fun to get out of the ocean, explore and or get some more food past fish.  Soon after coming out of the water, Alavastor worked his way up to an entrance into one of the local island’s jungles, entering with no hesitation. From what he heard the jungles held friendly enough grass types. So a nice starting point for his adventures one might say. 

Although after a long amount of exploring in the jungle he soon began to become a tad peckish. Ah! Well maybe a tree had fruits of some kind for him to quench his hunger with.  “Ah here’s one!” Alavastor exclaimed soon going and giving the tree a nice solid THWAP with his tail. Causing some berries to come falling from the tree. However by doing that he may have stirred up some local pokemon in this part of the area… But none the less he went and picked up a few of the berries and began to feast.

          Ah, the tree did indeed feel that! A nice, hearty THWAP shook the hole trunk and dropped seeds and berries from their stems. Along with this, the tree almost seemed to .... shiver. As though something inside of it was moving.

          Within mere seconds, a hole began to crack open within the bark, eventually allowing a large, vine-like head to suddenly pop out of the trunk and stop within mere inches of Alavastor. It would seem that it had attempted to SNAP its jaws on the Primarina just a few centimeters away from it, and already he could probably smell the TERRIBLE, PUNGENT scent of the Anthimultus appendage.

          Then, when it realized that it had not caught its prey, the head moved and snarled.

          “Where??? Where did you go??? Eat you? So small?? Where are you?? Hsss?”
