How long have you known me and you think I can catch?
Call it wishful thinking? Plus it wasn't that hard, come on try again? I know you can manage it.

….Tony why are you throwing a ball at me? AH! That almost hit me!
It's called catch Ruby - it's a game.
Go long! Yeah that's it!
Morning Strolls: Ash & Tony
Ash: "Oh, flowers are lovely," Aislin smiled, "but the forest is my absolute favorite place to be. It can be so quiet but so full of life at the same time -- there's nothing like it." As soon as she finished brushing her side of the horse, she stepped aside and let Tony fix the saddle. She'd never strapped one herself, so she didn't want to be in the way; she simply observed from a slight distance. "Right," the girl agreed, thinking back to the Greek epic. "I don't think anyone would want to ride a horse with an unstable mind, after all. That could be quite dangerous."
Tony: "They are rather, mamam and papa like them a lot it's why we always go places in France with lots of flowers," Tony explained brightly but he listened as she spoke of the forest giving an understanding nod in response. "Yes the forest is nice too, there's this really nice river near to our summer home which we always used to go have picnics by." His hands worked smoothly muscle memory doing most of the work until he had his horse saddled up. "No, I don't think it would be something many sane people would want to do," he agreed setting about reigning up his horse. "Anyway, there's a horse I need to catch by the looks of it."
Oh that’s pretty cool. I started, like…. sophomore year. Who’s your sister?
That's rad, and Charlotte Queen.
Really? That’s cool—wait. Are you Queen? Heard you were on crew.
Yep, that's me and my sister's in the same position on the girl's team too. Apparently rowing's a thing that runs in my family.
Who's your favorite person? What's your favorite thing to do when you're sad or angry?
My favourite person? Is my sister obviously! I mean besides her Kat but yeah...
Uh, I like to work out it helps get rid of some of that frustration I guess or spend time down at the stables.
TMI TUESDAY
TODAY’S TMI TOPIC: FAVORITES
Any questions about any favorite.
Morning Strolls: Ash & Tony
Ash: "That sounds amazing," Ash remarked, sighing. "All I ever did in the summer was visit my grandparents in Florida-- and I can't stand the beach! I burn like nothing you've ever seen; it's awful." She began to mimic Tony's example, brushing down the horse where he'd indicated. She wouldn't have thought brushing down an animal would be fun, but it kind of was, perhaps because being so close to such a grand creature was thrilling in its own. "Odysseus? Like the Greek hero? That's quite a bold name, but fitting, I think." She glanced up at Odysseus' head, offering him a kind and admirable smile, not that he noticed.
Tony: "The beach is alright, but I prefer the fields... There are lots of flowers there it was one of my favourite places to go visit," her explanation of burning earned a slight chuckle from him as he worked soon enough finished he set the brush aside and went to fetch the saddle pad which he settled onto his horse following up by placing the saddle in place starting strap it together as she complimented his horse. "Yeah that's the one. He seems like an Odysseus level-headed like any hero should be right?"
Oh—Asher. What grade you in?
Nice to meet you and I'm a freshman.
What’s the point of life if you aren’t enjoying it? Exactly. I like the way you think.
There isn't one, and I get told that a lot. Anyway, I should probably get back to doing this. It was nice to meet you miss?
Oh I better know about it. If I don’t I will embarrass him so much when I finally get to meet her.
It’s just because of her being away that we weren’t used to it. It’s nice though.Having her home even if I’m down here… Maybe you and Charlie can come up to DC one weekend and see the family.
Embarassing them is the job of the younger siblings.
That would be great! I'd love to come visit sometime.
Alright. Make new friends. There’s plenty of them to go around. And then it won’t bother you as much.
You know I love you.
Best course of action. Alright, I'll try to do that.
I know, I love you too. Best big sister ever.
Blowing Off Steam - Maddie & Tony
Maddie did what was needed, and helped him with the bar. Hovering, alert, if something were to go wrong and he’d need her. Though, Tony seemed very much in control. Too in control. It seemed to her that he could handle more weight than he had put on, and of course, she wanted to test him. As he finished the first rep, she spoke up. “That’s all very impressive, kiddo.. but I think we could make this a little more interesting.” Her smirk grew, feeding off the little wager she was about to propose. “I choose the weights. If you can do five reps, you get to make me do something ridiculous, anything you like. If you can’t… Well, I get to make you do something.” She already had an idea in mind, but was content not to tell him until after he agreed.
Racking the bar his head tilting back slightly the first five reps he found tended to be the easiest but her challenge piqued his interest. He'd seen the look she was giving him before and regarded her a tad dubiously he wasn't really in the mood for messing about, nor did he want to hurt himself but he supposed a little competition was okay. "I guess so," he eventually responded still seemed a touch unsure about the bargain he was entering into.
Yeah, right? Mushrooms, some cheese, ham. Love it.
Best thing ever. Also hey I'm Tony.
Morning Strolls: Ash & Tony
Ash: "Even if I did manage to get one though, I wouldn't know how to take care of it," Aislin sighed as she watched Tony greet his horse, "but you seem to know what you're doing, so I'll just take your instructions for now." Her gaze shifted to the brushes on the indicated shelf. Nodding in return, she quickly grabbed them and handed one over to him. "Here ya go. Is there a special way to doing this? I don't wanna mis-brush your horse or anything. He's gorgeous," she smiled. "What's his name?"
Tony: "Well you would probably keep it at a stables where you would learn these sorts of things, I guess I'm lucky - I grew up with a summer home where we had our own team of them but that's hard to do when you live in the city a lot of the time." When she handed him one he smiled in thanks starting to work brushing down his horse's coat making sure that he was in a healthy condition to go out riding as he did so. "No special way, just work down his neck, across his back and down his sides." Her compliment to his horse earned a smile and a pat on the dark coat of the animal. "He is rather... His name's Odysseus."
Our bloodline is thick with success, I however managed to have plenty of fun and get into loads of trouble at the same time.
Sounds like Lottie. Though there's nothing wrong with having all those things - after all having fun is a key part of life right?
