When did your Rook let Lucanis know their real name?

#my rook is a crow so i think lucanis will KNOW that viago’s protege wasnt originally named ‘Rook’#but also my rook was always called ‘viago jr.’ as a tease #so he literally only knows rook by those two nicknames & he will ask the first evening in the lighthouse #only when they are alone in case their real name was meant to stay hidden from the team (he doesnt know all the details yet)#‘Rook sounds better than Viago Junior’ he will say #and my rook will just let out an undignified snort/chuckle sound #‘figures you’d also know about that’ and after regaining their composure rook will turn a bit #facing him completely and say ‘Valentina de Riva at your service’#& then he smiles and nods ‘a pleasure to meet you’#anyway i think their dynamic gets pretty interesting since they’re people that technically couldve met before #but they didnt #but they knew OF each others existence

rookanis modern AU: murder mystery party game house

viago drags rook along one evening because he got into an argument with teia and she said “what are you gonna do? go to the murder mystery game house alone?” and he just said “no. rook is coming with me.”

he’s a regular at the venue and also the undefeated champ at solving the weekly murder in record time. it’s his thing - his relaxing hobby. all the employees are a little scared of him by now and have been going to increasingly ridiculous lengths to make the cases more difficult.

illario, also a regular, drags lucanis along because he is determined to defeat viago’s record time by any means necessary, which means involving the entire family business.

“illario, i don’t understand why you’re so fixated on this game against viago when we all have real-”

“there he is. shut up and help me, cousin”

so while illario and viago focus on destroying each other’s theories and sabotaging the game, rook & lucanis get to talking, befriend each other, and actually solve the case before the rest. they also broke the record.

will viago and illario see past their differences and form a shaky alliance to defeat the new reigning champs next week? unlikely. but they have been OH SO BETRAYED and will certainly make the other pair return for another round.

anyway, somewhere along the walls splashed with red paint and illario + viago’s frustrated screeching and squabbling, rook & lucanis fall in love 😌
