love your frank and karen designs! im curious though what inspired them? also how did they meet in your au :0

tysm!! :D for the first question: honestly it was a lot of tweaking, especially with Karen. For Frank, i managed to stick to the basic idea of what i wanted pretty well (tanned skin, darker hair, more grey streaks, etc), and they stuck pretty fast design-wise. it also helped make him stand out more. With Karen, i had the basic shape language in my head but it took a lot of tweaking for her to get to the point she is at now. I tend to use a lot of shape language and silhouette language to try and make my designs stand out more! An additional note is that i tend to aadd onto canon, ofc thingsl ike my race hcs are just my hcs but things like their body type, facial features, etc are all based on canon things i took notice in n liked! (this is also an excuse to share the sprites i made of them with my hcs, esp cus i made whole sets for things liek emotions, clothes, etc)

and for the second question: it depends on the au! if youre asking about how i view them meeting just in general, i liek to imagine frank and harvey were put onto a case and ran into karen because she knew information that could help the case. i also imagine frank fell first, lke he fell in love at first sight, and karen was charmed by his awkward sweetness. if u ment any other au feel free to ask!! :D
