To all of those going to school/work on April Fool’s day: I’m so sorry. Some people are jerks. It’s not that you “can’t take a joke”, it’s that they have decided to be mean. Remember that. You are better than the coworker who decides to be the it’s-just-a-joke-comedian of the office on the worst possible day, and you are better than the class clown trying to be funny/cruel at your expense just so they can say “April Fool’s!” at the end of it all.

But hey in all seriousness don’t we all suck at life in some sort of way anyway? I mean who honestly really has everything in life figured out? Just like how no person is perfect no person has everything figured out. We all have our own set of struggles in our lives and all solve them in our own ways as they come throughout our lives too. You could be the happiest person on the planet and still suck at something and still have problems and struggles. But I think true strength comes from someone saying hey I’ll never be a perfect person and I have a lot of struggles and stuff in my life I wish was better but I’m happy with my life and who I am anyway. My struggles throughout my life have made me who I am now and I wouldn’t change that. Not saying that your problems and struggles don’t matter and that you can’t be upset at them. Especially depending on your situation with how bad your problems in your life are. But if you’re not happy with your life and it’s something you can actually change then try to change it. If it’s something you can’t change then make the most out of the good stuff in your life and change the stuff you can and want to change. Way easier said then done I know. All I’m saying is that you’re alone when it comes struggling or not being good at something. Even if you’re struggling or sucking at something you can still find the good in the situation and make the most out of it and the good is there even if you can’t see it but sometimes you just need to find it. :)
Remember guys we’re all on this crazy journey called life together. Sucking at something every step of the way and we can be fucking proud of that! :D
If it moves you, if it inspires you, if it makes you happy, let it.

Humans can see and hear less than 1% of the visual and audio spectrums. That is, we can generally hear a range from 20Hz to 20kHz- which is much smaller range than you’d expect. Plus, we can only see parts of the visual spectrum of light- not even the whole thing!
If this is true, then we preceive much, MUCH less of the world around us than we like to say we do.
Which means the aliens we search for may already be here.
I had a professor who liked to talk about this. He’d also rant about how aliens probably aren’t [all] humanoid and likely have different senses than we do, and it’s possible that an extremely large alien roaming the universe could completely destroy us by accident because it simply can’t tell that we’re here.
