My short film “You Broke It!” is about two disgruntled coworkers working aboard a spaceship, to avoid getting in trouble with their boss the pair are forced to work together to fix the new lab equipment they broke.

Mike, the third and final main character in my short film, is the boss of the crew. He is self-centred and self-important. He walks into every room expecting to be respected and praised, without actually doing anything to deserve it. Mike is prone to cutting corners on the job and taking credit for his employees work.

Nilo is the second character in my film, they are a standoffish and aloof member of the crew - often acting impulsively and cocky they are uninterested in working as a member of the team.

They do not get on with Kintana largely because they think she’s trying too hard and finds it very easy to push her buttons. The disagreements are usually furthered by Nilo going out of their way to not do any actual work.

She is high-strung and eager to please, her current highest priority is to excel at her job and impress her boss. Kintana has a habit of obsessing over small details that usually causes more problems than it fixes, which isn’t helped by her consistent need to be right all the time.
