For the seventh day of Advent, I bring you…a full bath remodel! Just what you always wanted, right?
At least you can use it as an excuse…no, I couldn't possibly host dinner this year, the bathroom is being renovated…there's a work party? Oh damn, I wish I could, but I have to be home for the plumber.
I have two sets of recolors for seven pieces from CuriousB's 3t2 conversion of Awesims's MidMod bath, as well as the towel for the OfB towel racks, the base game cheap wall mirror, the base game value counter, and several pieces from the base game cheap bathroom.
The meshes for the bits of MidMod I recolored are included in the archive in both as unmodified originals and the price-edited ones I use in my game.
The base game cheap bathroom pieces that are included are the toilet, the pedestal sink, and the counter sink. I recolored the bathtub too, but ultimately felt that it wasn't good enough to include. I have plans to redo it with a better base texture and update this post later.
(Some pieces not pictured as I have the flu and am no up to much today)
The first set, Colonial, is the ten interior paint colors from the old Sherwin-Williams Colonial Preservation palette.
The second set, Retro, is the twelve colors of the Retro palette by Shastakiss.
Everything comes in these twenty-two colors.
Now that you've replaced all the fixtures, are you looking at the walls and wishing you could refresh them as well? I got you. I brought a set of tiled walls and floors, plus a set of plaster walls, all done in the two color schemes used on the bath pieces. The tile was originally extracted from a set that I lost long ago, and unfortunately I no longer remember who it was by. I have had it for almost ten years and have edited it significantly in that time. The plaster is Holy Simoly's Rough Plaster with the moulding from their Rolled Bamboo wallpapers.
Here's the Simfileshare folder with everything: Advent 2025 Day 7
I'm gonna edit this tomorrow when maybe I feel more human
