Anyone on the Tsubaki GSA Facebook page will already have seen these, but these are photos of the new bronze statue of Ame no Uzume no Mikoto that’s being made for the shrine.

It sounds like the statue just need some polishing before being considered done. This statue will reside next to the bronze statue of Sartahiko no Okami that already exists on the shrine grounds.

I really, really love the leaves in her hair. :3

i cant stop thinking about that one post where someone wished all white people who practice shinto would die it just makes me so sad like... i dont want to just stop... i love the kami, i love shinto, i know i have eons more to learn but i am trying my best to be respectful... i dont feel entitled to the kami but rather blessed that i am able to have them in my life shinto inspires me to be a better person and appreciate my life so much more. my way of thinking and living has improved a lot because of it. i understand why people have so much hatred for white people forcing themselves into other peoples cultures, i never want to do that. i just, need to think some. if anyone has any advice or comments, please share them with me
