i've decided to just share my unfiltered thoughts and opinions in bullet points just to make it easier on me.

love how Mark just held Tong's arm the whole time he was giving him a rundown on vampires

okay... i see you villain Mond 👀 kinda excited for how that's gonna play out

really enjoying the vampiric lore (tbh i love it whenever anyone has anything new to say about vampires)

given how these vampires seem to hold assimilating into human society as top priority, it makes sense to deem typical vampiric tropes as conspiracy theories. that said, i wonder what their weakness is... (as much as i loke overpowered beings, it gets boring when they don't have even a single weakness)

GOOD ON THE SECURITY GUARD FOR DOING HIS JOB

huhuhu it's really sad to see Tonkla infantilize Tong (i mean, i'm sure it's because it's been hammered into his head that he needs to do that, it's still sad)

OH MY GOD!!! IT'S FINALLY HERE!!! i'm still riding the high i got from it, lemme type out a few of my thoughts. not sure if i'll do a proper review, but here's this for now.

i'm just happy it's finally here

love the friendship between Tong and Tonkla (very cute, i wanna see more of it)

poor Tonkla just wants to be treated like an adult

enjoying the stalker-y shots we get to show Mark's pov; it's giving Edward Cullen vibes and i am here for it

does the skincare product have special blood in it? is that where we're going with this?

the reporter didn't deserve that! she was pushed by the photographer!

Nakan's comment about the missing reporter... are we getting political? (probably not, but i appreciated it)

Joss saying drinking blood for vampires is orgasmic in that one interview and actually giving o-face in the scene 👀 that is an Actor!!!

i don't know her name yet, but Mark's housekeeper/chef/roommate (???) is a fucking gem and i want to see more of her

the chemistry between Joss and Gawin are off the charts

special mention to the lighting!!! beautiful! gorgeous! amazing! i especially liked the market scene

anyway... i really enjoyed the first episode. i now have something to look forward to every Wednesday.

I'm feeling deeply sad for Great that the only thing his dying brain could come up with in his final moments was a love story between him and a guy he barely knew, but who mildly moved him enough to give a shit about something.

Great leaves Manee to die. He helps Tle dispose of Dome's body. But a few words from Tyme, and he's running toward danger to help him. His last memories of Tyme are Tyme telling him he's a coward and that they shouldn't see each other anymore.

And his dying brain just... creates a version of them that is nothing like reality. Tyme is awkward and caring instead of cold and calculating. Great is brave and soft instead of scared and sarcastic.

They care more about each other than their revenge (because lbr, Great's self-destruction is a form of revenge against his parents). All of this for a man he barely knew, but who made him FEEL something for the first time in a long time. It's just... really fucking sad.
