Hello, Tumblr! We are ARADIA!

We’re a magical girls comic collective, dedicated to creating and promoting the genre of magical girls! This literary genre usually features girls as the main characters and their attempts to improve the world with powers born or acquired. Recent sub-classifications include magical boys or magical enbies. Sometimes the genre shares a space with the majokko (lit. “witch”) genre.

ARADIA aims to promote and produce works within the genre, and in addition, serve as an archive collection of all existing magical girl print- and webcomics of all kinds! We also aim to archive those in the aforementioned sub-categories as well!

With Super Rose specifically I'm delighted to report that more of the series has been uploaded to the Internet Archive since my initial review of it, so you (or anybody else reading this) can read it firsthand if you'd like. One of the most recent collabs I've had the pleasure of doing! This was done for @aradiacollective 's (free) summer zine last year, appropriately titled "Summer in Aradia!"

The characters come from "XII: Of Magic & Muses" (and its sequel, "Of Rogues & Remnants") by Batichi, who also drew the entire thing. I simply colored the whole dang thing! <3
