We talked about updating Adora's outfit for season 4 at the same time as we updated Glimmer's, because the pointy cut shoulder pads and asymmetrical stacked belts were hard to draw in a way that was consistent and volumetric for both our board artists and the overseas animation studio. I forget why exactly we ended up not updating her, I was pretty into some of these ideas, but oh well!

Two years anniversary

Today marks exactly the second year I’ve been drawing Catradora fanart, I’m so happy and excited. I’ve met so many supportive friends over these two years. Catradora has truly lit up my life, and I wish them eternal happiness❤️🥰

I'm cleaning up some files on my computer and found some outfit ideas I was iterating on for when Catra joins the good guys in Season 5. I was trying to be in the mindset of altering what was available to her (or things that could be stolen from somebody else) instead of creating a whole new outfit. Obviously, none of these were used and we went with just altering her S4 outfit

Today I wanted to share the first 7 pages of this comic with you on a very special day: we finally get to see the first kiss between Catra and Adora in the Despara AU. ❤️

I know many of you had been asking for it for a while, but I wanted it to happen at the right moment for the story. Although, well… since this is Despara, you can probably imagine that the circumstances are not exactly the easiest.

This is a project I’m really excited about. Right now the comic already has almost 30 pages, but the story is going to be much longer. For now, I’m posting 3 pages a month on Patreon, although I’m considering posting more pages per month so the story can move a little faster.

Yes, Catra is shameless. And yes, as a professional tattoo artist, I can confirm that sometimes we say things while tattooing without realizing how terribly wrong they sound. The difference is that Catra absolutely knows what she’s doing, and she’s enjoying every second of it.

This is Adora’s second visit, so Catra has decided to use the opportunity to shamelessly flirt with the dumb blonde while she’s stuck on the tattoo bed.

And well... Adora is not exactly hard to fluster.
