In her bookstore there is a small box by the desk where customers can request authors/genres/series that they want to see stocked in the store. Given how some people are shy or think of requests after they've left she figured it would be a decent way to cater to some of her more frequent customer's tastes.

You Found Me ❦ Hoya
It was close to closing time when she finally peeled herself from the book in her lap to take stock of the disorder of her shop and to remind her remaining customers that they had a set amount of time to finish up whatever they were doing and leave. She didn't blame any of them for lingering so long, knowing that she would have done the same in their place, so it was always with a small smile that she greeted every one whenever it was time to do such things. The only annoyance of owning a bookstore was the mess that people tended to leave behind as a result of picking up books and setting them down in completely different areas or moving the tables and plush chairs set up to suit their own needs. Luckily there was a "no food or drink allowed" sign she'd had the forethought to put up weeks earlier so daily cleanup was only reorganizing and vacuuming as was needed. Owning a store could be both a blessing and a curse.
Marking her place,she rose and began her rounds, fixing any simple misplacement that she passed by and mentally marking where she would have to return after closing time. Nearly everyone was out when she found him, sprawled across a secluded corner where the science and fantasy sections met. Books piled every which way and all around him, Lucy could only stare in complete surprise as the male lightly snored away, curled with his head cushioned on his arm and a tiny pile of books. How could anyone pick that many books and pile them up without her notice or another customer commenting on it? Not to mention he was completely fast asleep, dark circles marking his eyes in a clear sign of exhaustion. With a light touch and then shake of his shoulder, she attempted to wake him.
"Hello? Excuse me sir but you can't sleep here and it's almost closing time..."

{Can I claim fall to pieces and we can talk more on it in a little bit?}
(( Of course! <3 ))
Plots
Here With Me - There's an accident, a terrible terrible accident that puts someone's life into danger and into Lucy's capable hands. She had just been walking by when the shout for a doctor sounded and she was forced to comply, prolonging life until the ambulance arrives. How this ends is up for further plotting. (I.E. It's your character injured in some way(shooting, hit and run, etc) and she saves them or your character is the one calling for help (and then is roped into helping her keep the person alive) or something of the like) This plot can lead to further ones where your character begins to question Lucy's origins and why she seems to no longer be in the medical profession despite being able to easily fall into her teachings.
Hysteria - Possession is an all-consuming emotion, the need to own another so deeply and completely that it takes over everything else, creating an urgency that is unparalleled. Someone from Lucy's past rises from the ashes of her old life to wreck havoc on her present one, be it having ties to the Chinese mafia or having been a presence in her life in Germany (or even when she came to Arcanum in 2002). Either way this person desires her (that desire is up to plotting be it, desire to destroy, claim, maim, etc.) and refuses to let go after finding her again. This plot can go multiple directions (starting from notes this person leaves for her and escalating or meeting on the street which causes inevitable confrontation or something else) and will require extensive plotting.
Fall To Pieces - Unable to save a patient from dying, Lucy is torn up. It's her fourth loss on the table in the middle of surgery and each one haunts her, reminding her of phantoms stuffed in imagined closets. Enter your character be it in a helpful or harmful manner, part of Arcanum or someone who sees her pain. Will require a little more plotting on setting and circumstance.
Rise - Paired with another Arcanum member tasked with information extraction, Lucy is called in to aide in keeping a prisoner alive while they undergo torture. Gruesome and jarring, she is the only stopping force should the measures taken reach a danger zone. The prisoner has to remain alive otherwise the loss of intel could be immense. This plot can be tweaked and changed as the circumstance sees fit and certainly doesn't have to be part of Arcanum as maybe your character who knows she is a doctor calls in a favor.
Lying In The Hands Of God - Called by the hospital when a close friend lands themselves in the emergency room, Lucy is sitting in the small chapel located there, dry-eyed and staring at the cross hanging above the alter with only one question on her mind; Why? Your character is there as well for reasons to be plotted and two souls reach out for answers neither have. The conversation will likely cover death, the afterlife and other potential philosophical topics. This will need some plotting.

Criminal Minds Are Different From Yours, Brain Scans Reveal
These brain scans of psychopaths show a deformation in the amygdala compared to non-psychopaths, from a study by Adrian Raine and colleagues.
In the psychopaths, the researchers observed deformations in another part of the brain called the amygdala, with the psychopaths showing a thinning of the outer layer of that region called the cortex and, on average, an 18-percent volume reduction in this part of brain.
"The amygdala is the seat of emotion. Psychopaths lack emotion. They lack empathy, remorse, guilt," said research team member Adrian Raine, chair of the Department of Criminology at the University of Pennsylvania, at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in Washington, D.C., last month.
