Which part of her words even imply discrimination? She even worded it very carefully and decided not to label anyone out loud on the drama. I feel like I suddenly can't understand English cuz I definitely don't get how that insightful interview from her can incite this kind of hatred...😩😵
I first read this interview of Yoshida Erika-san when it 1st came out (FYI, the link to the japanese article was omitted once, thankfully it's back now and @motivateanger translated that properly so check it out guys, it's very good) and I feel really touched with her perspectives and the whole production crew intention and hard work in bringing the BL work that "doesn't hurt anyone" . And they brought lots of sincere humanity topics into lights. The ordinary problems of adults experiencing in society in a realistic ways we all can relate. And I will say it again and again that Cherry Magic is my best BL drama ever and it's a legend, a pioneer, and set a whole new trend for BL works. Period.
Plus Toyota Yuu-sensei agreed with all the changes. She even fangirled about the drama with her fans on twt...And it is an Adaptation so it SHOULD have some differences from the original work.
I hope that cherry magic fandom in here can remain hate-free ❤
