Sky was clearer than ever, clouds scrambling around like messed up cotton candies. Sweat dripping from our soaked hair as we walked exhaustingly along the road, that seems to take forever.

Loaded bags that made our progress slower, slouching with every pace, every step while our hooded eyes slowly began to fall and open, a perpetual motion that seems to stay for who knows when.

As I slowly tilt my head upwardly like a panorama, an extravagant show of glistening amber skies and pinkish lavender clouds surprised my view. Clouds, silhouetted over the magnificent golden sun overfilling my mind with the sight of the exploded, rambled hues of the skies.

It was a lot to take in.

I excitedly called his name, to share the wonders of the golden hour, we both screamed and shouted with awe as my other classmates turned around and stare at the glistening sunset of the golden hour.

Damn, the best view that I could have with my loved one.

We both sat on the road. Appreciating, wondering, experiencing every second of that moment. I heard him jokingly asked, "what is life?".

Silence, and pure satisfaction filled the atmosphere. Looking forward into the golden sunset, wishing and hoping for it not to end.

But it did end.

With a smile on both of our faces.
