Got into Gwent again, and remembered this card in particular: Dettlaff, Higher Vampire.
"In his true form, the Beast of Beauclair made even a witcher quake in his boots."
Very fearsome, very intimidating. The thing is: the Polish caption is slightly different.
"At the sight of him even witches go weak at the knees."
And...
Geralt, looking up at Regis's goth bestie:

The immortal blinked at the somewhat familiar voice, coming from downstairs. She had sensed the presence of her self claimed adoptive son, whose story of how she was his mother always giving her endless bewilderment. Actually, she started to feel confused just thinking about it already. So she decided not to dwell on that, and focused on the anomalies her senses picked up.
The slightly hoarse voice confirmed what stirred inside her head moments later.
Wasn't he supposed to be a boy? How long have she been in slumber?
The coffin lid was pushed open and she was out and half way down the stairs in nearly two seconds -typical of a vampire's superhuman speed. Looking towards the darkness that was her matua shop, her right brow arched up ever so slightly.
".......Oui?"
She didn't see Klaus as she made her way downstairs. Different vampire she hadn't seen in a while. Though Klaus clearly had been home for a bit, a pile of the boy's laundry in a basket on one of her tables he'd brought from Oxford. So he definitely would be returning for it after staying wherever he was for the daylight hours. Probably was with his girlfriend's family while he was trapped by the son. But at her door was Dalvrick.
"Sorry to wake you. Just was feeling like getting away from Venice for a while, and was in the area. That and Vevila wanted to go visit Ina's grave. So I didn't want to interrupt that. Figured I'd pop in and say hi to an old acquaintance instead. Been almost a century, and I'm still not ready to go to that plot. How have you and the boy been?"
Well, this was confusing.
Nijah blinked at the somewhat familiar vampire stood in front of her for a few minutes. Being a millennia, she had been quite confident how astute her memory was, least until this moment. She could have sworn it was the boy's presence and voice she picked up. Rattling her brain, her slender brows slowly drew close together as she hesitantly opened her mouth.
".......You are?"
