Goodreads Challenge 2015/2016

I feel that it’s safe to say that at this point, most people on the interwebs are familiar or aware of the book review/sharing site and app called Goodreads. What most people don't know is that every year they host a Book Challenge where users can set their own goals for the year and then read to their little hearts content! With the start of 2016, now is a great time to get online and set yourself a new goal!

For some inspiration and to see how it works a little bit better, here is a look back at my 2015 Reading Challenge and my new 2016 goals!

My 2015 Reading Challenge

34/50 books read. Sadly, I did not meet my goal in 2015 and that was a pretty big letdown. My friends keep telling me to buck up, that 50 books in one year is almost one book a week. So we are going to aim for 50 again in 2016! This time I am determined!

My 2016 Reading Challenge

This year I am going to read 50 books! 10 of which will be book club books, so that just leaves me with 40 to find and read on my own. This year’s list will contain the books I received for Christmas this year, several new leases that are due to come out in 2016, the rest of the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, and as many stand alones on my TBR (To Be Read) shelf at home as I can manage!
