I will never forgive Kevin Sullivan for not making the right adaptation of "Anne of Avonlea" and "Anne of the Island". The 1985's version was sooo good, why did he stop following the books storyline? Especially the third film: it had nothing to do with the L.M. Montgomery's novels 🥲

And I don't even want a new film because in my mind the only Anne and Gilbert that I can accept are Megan and Jonathan!

I'd die to have 8 films with the two of them that follow exactly the plot of the 8 books of the saga. How much wasted potential

it's hard to be history/italian/latin smart in a society that only cares about people who are maths/science/politics smart🥲 i think that's one of the reasons why i love dead poets society so much: mr keating's speech made me realize that I'm not the one with the 'wrong' intelligence, i was just born into the wrong society

TODAY I LIVED MY DPS MOMENT, I'M SO HAPPY!!

Basically today at school we were reading a book and my teacher said at some point: "this scene makes us understand how every moment must be lived as if it were the last, it invites us to seize the day." And, since we study Latin in our school, she added "Does anyone know how to say this in Latin?"

Obviously I immediately answered "carpe diem" and my teacher said "Great! Excactly, it's carpe diem".

I swear for a moment I saw Mr Keating instead of my teacher and I felt like I was Meeks 😭
