Who I am?

I don't know I'm just someone 22 years old who goes to university and seriously rethinks her life decisions. I like writing, reading and drawing, but due to time issues, I can only read... I am of Chilean nationality and my mother tongue is Spanish, but I must practice English so... An apology if I write something wrong. I am a fan of cats and scientific topics. I like reading webtoon: Don't Read This, Homesick, School Bus Graveyard... Rereading Ga'hoole's books (for who knows how many times) I also read Homestuck and now I'm waiting for the next chapter of Fisheye Placebo to come out, and also waiting for a possible webtoon whose creator is Chiakiro... this was really helpful I learned a lot from doing these

For 1, I don’t have the same brush as red because these were done in procreate and I’m pretty sure she uses clip studio. (Hers is more rounded and mine is more square)

2, I used the same thickness and was referencing panels of different quality so they ended up looking drastically different from each other

And 3, I didn’t sketch anything I kinda just went for it, I’m sure if I did a sketch first and fixed proportions they could’ve been more accurate but this was just a test

after seeing red's recent ig story i thought it would be fun to try and practice drawing tyler with his new hair! (also my first attempt to draw in the webtoon's art style)

ngl i don't know what possessed me to draw all of this in one sitting, but hey at least it's done.

anyway, this took me maybe four(?) hours to sketch, color, and render (please pray for my wrist and my lower back y'all 🙏🏻)

Well, in Ashlyn Banner's case, the wings she would have would be those of a barn owl, due to their silent flight, excellent hunting skills, and great hearing. Obviously, with such a quiet flight, Ashlyn would be completely undisturbed.

And in the case of the twins, I like the idea of them having hawks wings. Especially Tyler

But in this AU, they use wings to fly and everyone has wings, or do you have any other ideas about this AU? Like, only kids get wings?

Taylor's got strength, just look at the artwork below with Tyler carrying a motorcycle helmet under his arm... Just look at the twins!!!

Obviously she can carry Ben!!! In the other artwork she carried Aiden on her shoulders without any problems!! (the one from the playground)

I understand Ben agreed to go to therapy because of the danger he put his family in, but I think it’d be interesting to see him resent his parents for “sending him away” if that makes sense, if only a little bit

They didn’t protect him when he needed them, and they don’t really support him either. There’s not a single panel of Ben interacting with his parents since they came to visit. I find that incredibly suspicious.

Currently writing a fic about Ben’s healing process where I explore his backstory. I’m NOT a good writer so it’s pretty bad but when there’s no content you just gotta make it yourself 💔

When I really analyze Ben's parents, it's as if they're trying not to repeat the same mistakes they made with him... while taking care of Lily now.

What I don't understand is what the hell is going on with them, and I'd like to see those scenes. I want to understand how the hell they, as parents, didn't do anything from the beginning when their son came home beaten up.

At least in a realistic context with my mother, for example, the moment I have a change in behavior, or come home bruised, or even a change in pattern, she would already be intervening. (it actually already happened)

But with Ben's parents, how could you not realize that something serious was happening to your own son? Did they even investigate from the beginning? Were they involved? Even if their son wasn't telling them anything, at the very least, keep at it, even going to the school to see what's going on.

Every time I read the scenes where Maverick talks to Ben, I can really understand more when he says that the authorities have failed him. We're talking about school, with teachers, principals, and especially his parents (and maybe his uncle and aunt), but with adults in general.

He would be sad and guilty for the actions and decisions he made, but he must keep that resentment bottled up because if he had at least had the support of his parents from the beginning, this could have been avoided... Or perhaps the damage wouldn't have been so great

(I don't know, thinking about Ben really makes me sad and it's something I plan to write about in my current story; I want to give more visibility to these characters and how they must really feel)

Chapter 3 is here!!

 In this one I really had to juggle my mind... I feel it's not the best thing I've written so far (I just feel that way) because, well, I started inspired, but in the middle there were problems because it just so happened that I had to write a lab report, and that took away most of my inspiration to write... Then the inspiration slowly returned, and almost at the end of the chapter everything started to flow more freely... I now have an idea for writing chapter four; I'm quite far along, but it will have to wait... 

I have another lab report that I need to start working on and deliver that thing next week... a lot of calculations... and I also need to study for my first exam next week.

By the way, I like brainstorming, so if you have any ideas please don't hesitate to write them down; they always help me imagine what might come next.
