been considering writing uptie stories for a Deltarune mirror world with Gregor as Kris, (probably) heathcliff as Susie, and Faust as ralsei
Idk if I’d actually get around to writing anything about it so I’ll just dump my ideas for the stuff around ot
most notably, Faust would have access to the Gesselschaft, but (given that the city fausts largely don’t really care about whatever goes on in this mirror world) would mainly communicate with two other fausts, representing the two other save files—one where Faust is still ralsei but in a weird route file, and one where Faust is berdly (lmao) (ralsei probably goes to Sinclair in that world)
im a bit dubious about Heathcliff!Susie but it fits much better than the other sinners; the only issue is that Noelle is not a fucking Cathy.
speaking of Noelle, she doesn’t map *well* onto any of the Sinners but I’d probably go with either Rodion or Yi sang (Rodion for the whole “I must fit myself into a box but I yearn to break out of my socially expected role easily translating to “You must be special” & that translating well to a weird route take, Yi sang for the longing for a past with My Fellows that can’t really be returned to in full, but still being able to find happiness)
(as I am writing this it occurs to me that save 1 can have Yi sang and save 2 can have Rodion. Yippee!!)
Gregor maps onto Kris disturbingly well, what with the parallels between “im human but it lowkey disgusts me and isolates me” and “i have a non human part of me that isolates me and that disgusts me” (hey look free soul parallel!). the only issues would be The War but that can be forgone because lol mirror world
I hate to say it but berdly is Hohenheim (in save 1 and 2) exclusively for the personality match. Sorry Hohenheim fans im assassinating his character
as for the other sinners, most would be Darkners. Gerson is Vergilius. Tenna is prooobably Don Quixote? Queen is Meursault sorry I do make the rules. Roulx Caard is Gubo, king is Jia Huan.
I don’t know who the Knight is even if I assume dess knight is correct, but if all else fails you could go for gregor’s sister, who theoretically exists. This would also make Carol Hermann.
Limbus doesn’t really have an appropriate flower ensemble substitute; theoretically you could do house of spiders apprentices flowers (plus araya and ryoshu as Flowery) but I don’t think that actually works. Like at all. LCD, plus Alyssa and Marton, maybe.
all in all the main 3 are easily the most important and easiest to assign but I thought I’d write all this out for fun
