It’s not just about only being a 2d character but some you all make such statements like it’s hard to believe that you won’t be applying it in the real life too. The amount of times i’ve seen posts like “baby maker” “trash” “wh0re” etc. against sakura like is this your aim to spill bullshit, it’s like your whole purpose of life is to objectify women even if it’s just an imaginary character.

not mdzs related, but i always think about how people has sex while music playing in the background cus i’m a very responsive person and my brain stimulates a lot while listening to music so i often unconsciously walk around in room or outside while listening to music, it’s the way i enjoy it. so i was so surprised when i found out that people have themed music playlists cus i would be too distracted on where to concentrate, on the music playing or the inward action going on. i guess it would feel really nice, playing your fave tunes in the bg.

After reading the novel over and over, i realised the fact there are some “foreshadowing elements” throughout,not completely accurate and i really don’t know if someone have pointed it out by now, might have but i’ll go ahead-

the one scene that caught all of our attention is how in the past wei ying used to ask wangji to go to yunmeng with him and spend time with him but wangji denied relentlessly until wei ying gave up the idea, during the sunshot campaign, we see the same situation but with switched roles and even intense emotions compared to first, wangji begging wei ying to return to gusu with him and not to take the wrong path as demonic cultivation until he gave up.

the next one is wangji coming to visit yiling to find wei ying, that’s his first encounter with baby a-yuan, where a-yuan hugs his legs and calls him father, the same situation with the present where he adopted a-yuan and gave him his sect name, basically becoming his father/guardian.

this one’s wild, the time when wei ying gets punished to copy the rules with wangji at the library pavilion, the whole “18+ p#rn book” prank played effortlessly by wei ying to piss off wangji and he succeeds, and well, if you read the novel, you know what happened in the current timeline (spoiler: incense burner”)

i am not sure whether this comes under it, but it might be just my imagination, but when they were all studying in gusu lan and they went to hunt down water ghouls, wei ying falls into water while trying to save someone, and here he drowned until wangji caught hold of him and pulled him ashore, but in (cql) burial mounds, wangji wasn’t able to save wei ying, and just like in the past, he fell into abyss of death.

another one is, where they were in gusu, before wei ying gets into fight with jin zixuan, xichen asks wangji whether something is troubling his mind and whether he wants to talk to wei ying, and wangji was going to convey something to wei ying but amidst of it, wei ying becomes invested in the argument with jin and wangji lets him be, suppressing his messages, i feel like this is similar to how wangji was unable to convey his feelings to wei wuxian and how his confession might have caused some bit of change in wei ying’s personality and wangji could have somehow convinced him to not go to war and return to gusu with him, if he would have opened up about his feelings.

and before transmigration, jc considered wei ying a traitor who was the reason why his family was killed and the betrayer who promised to stay by his side when he becomes sect leader, after being reborn as mo xuanyu, at the last, even after some clarity of details, jc still refers to him as a person who is not worth of his acceptance and points out how he is leaving his side when he promised in the past that he would be with him forever. (i don’t blame both of them)

Not a hot take or anything but how come people ship lan xichen with jiangcheng like HOW??? WHAT KIND OF INTERACTION THEY’VE HAD WHICH GIVES SHIPPING VIBES???LIKE I DON’T EVEN KNOW IF BOTH OF THEM HAD ANY LENGTHY CONVERSATION EXCHANGED. I would rather believe xichen with jin guangyao but never with jiancheng. i was quite surprised after finding it out. 😭😭😭
