I’ve been rewatching InuYasha a lot recently and felt the urge to draw my girl. I’ve always pictured Kagome to be a bit older than she was described - maybe a 17-year-old senior in high school at the beginning of the show and a 21-year-old at the end. I like to think that she spent the three year span that she was stuck in the present era attending college, maybe majoring in history and spending her spare time in the archery and martial arts clubs.

I also wish we got more Kagome outfits D; her green school uniform is iconic but we deserved even more from this diva.

Technique wise, I used this piece to work on anatomy and creating a background (I’m not used to making backgrounds and they really intimidate me, but I think I did a good job here!)

Teenage Dipper and Mabel Pines

Since it's October I've been rewatching the show and I always forget how amazing it is.

I've been rewatching Gravity Falls recently and I wanted to draw Dipper and Mabel! This a more teen or adult interpretation of them. I would say that they're 15 about to turn 16 here.

Right now I still consider this piece to be a WIP.

If any other artists have some advice on watermarks, I'd love to hear it. I want to protect my art from theft while it can still be enjoyed and seen by many people.
