So it’s commonly stated that Harry Potter is nobodies favorite character, even though he’s the main character, but I was thinking earlier, why?

And I thought of something

The books are all told exclusively from his point of view, sooo basically what I’m trying to say is that we see everything with a negative bias towards himself. (which he totally has one, growing up with abusive authority figures basically ensures that)

Whereas he often only looks at the good things within other people, all the best, most interesting qualities, so thats what we see them as to

Cause if you think about it, yeah sure we call Harry oblivious but is he really? He is the only one who can tell the twins apart and he’s really smart and adaptable.

Also almost everyone who meets Harry thinks he’s great
