My bestie is really bad at remembering character names and will rename most of the TGCF Characters when she talks to me about it. Here are some of my favorites:

So basic gang courtesy is to not wear your colors outside of your territory unless you are marching into a war. We have seen this a lot in the manga anytime the boys go on any field trips. So I imagine they are all gonna go in their civilian clothes. But I also think at least one of them (Anzai probably) is gonna show up with a set of Groucho marks glasses 🥸

sugi has a point though, everytime Neirie gets hurt Sakura internalizes it as his failing and makes it about himself. Sugishta on the other hand sees things as very black and white. Neirie is his and of someone hurts him that demands retribution. It doesn't matter who it is or why it happened. Sugi was there the first time Nierie got knocked out too! He was probably already feeling pissed off that instead of addressing it Sakura decided to shoulder the blame all on his own. But sugishta was raised right and the class handled Sakura's meltdown so he let him have that one. Everyone is allowed to make mistakes as long as they learn from them.

But when it happens twice.... Bet your ass he's gonna get called a bagworm.

My favorite genre is characters who have gone through unspeakable horror and traumas and yet choose to be kind. Especially characters that have the physical power to absolutely demolish the world if they want to but choose to be sweet softies.

Bonus points if that character also has a psychotic man who is in love with them.

Been re-reading tgcf and man, Xie Lian was. Ready to become a homewrecker.

My man thought Hua Cheng had someone else, and heard him clearly say he was absolutely smitten and wanted to win them over. Xie Lian heard all this and yes, he was sad about it, but he also didn't try to distance himself from Hua Cheng?? At all???

He was aware that the way Hua Cheng acted around him was pretty intimate, but he didn't reproach him once, not even in his internal dialogue. It didn't cross his mind for even a moment that perhaps it was inappropriate to be so close with Hua Cheng when he was interested in someone else. He was READY to take whatever he could, regardless of Hua Cheng's unknown special someone.

What a guy.
