Falling Sea

As usual, it was the silvery glow of the floating orb that drew Jack to the surface. The moon, it was called. In the sky. Two things they didn’t have under the sea. Jack loved watching them. He would lift a hand toward it, wishing the air current—the wind—would pick him up and carry him to it. But this time, there was something new. Small, white and glittering in the moon’s light, they seemed to fill all the space, drawing a veil of… of whatever this was over the world.

One fell on his nose and he gasped. It was cold. He reached up to grab it, but there was nothing to be found there. They must be magic, he decided. They fell all around him, to the surface of the sea, before disappearing as if they never existed. Jack extended his hand to try to catch them. That was when he realized that they weren’t really disappearing. They were turning to water! Was there a sea up there, in the sky? Was it turning into little crystals to fall down and join its sister?

One thing Jack knew for certain: he had to get up there to find out.

Hey, Sisaat! Thanks for doing the palette challenge. Sorry I'm a little late to the party. Of course you know I'm going to request Cupcake (so I can share it on my side blog, but also because I'm not sure what else you're into and don't want to branch out too far). If you're still working with the palette that you posted earlier this month, I'd like to see her in #7. If not, then in #14 from the newer palette challenge. Thank you! And if you don't mind, I'd like to make more requests later.

I’m fine with using either set of palettes as long as I know which one it supposed to be (I’ll assume it’s the latest if not specified). And I don’t minf you making more! It’s much-needed practice.
