Ladies and gentlemen!
I'm mighty happy to finally give y'all the very first official peek at my own Old Toons AU I've been workin' on behind the curtains... Stealing the Spotlight!
“ Finding your place ain't always easy, and this little trio is about to chase a dream far bigger than themselves. With their bags packed and their eyes set on the famous Toontown, they'll try to earn a place among the biggest names in show business... if they can make it there, that is. ”
STS is still in the writing and storyboarding stage, but I'm hoping to share much more of this project with you all very soon!
Will this become an Ask Blog someday? Maybe! It'll mostly depend on the interest it gets, but one thing's for sure, you'll definitely be seeing a lot more artwork, sketches, and, with a little luck, their full reference sheets before long.
This little announcement is my way of saying thank you for helping me reach 500+ followers. It took me a little while, but I wanted to bring you something special.

STS todavía se encuentra en proceso de escritura y storyboard, pero con un poco de suerte podré traerles mucho más contenido sobre este proyecto muy pronto.
¿Habrá un Ask Blog? Tal vez. Todo dependerá del interés que vea en el proyecto, aunque algo sí les puedo asegurar: seguiré trayendo ilustraciones, bocetos y, con suerte, las reference sheets de los personajes dentro de muy poco.
Esta pequeña presentación es mi forma de agradecerles de todo corazón por haber alcanzado los +500 seguidores. Me tomó un poquito de tiempo, pero quería traerles algo hecho con mucho cariño.

I absolutely LOVE this comic-- actually no that's an understatement. I adore it so much I immediately got to drawing the sillies after catching up with it, because not only is @lemmyleedraws ' style + redesigns SO INCREDIBLY FITTING AND PLEASING to look at, but the overall premise has suchh potential ughh it's insane!! ITS ALSO QUITE UNDERRATED!! Like dayum they got a whole cast of super duper talented VAs working on the official YT dubs! (I'm too scared to tag em 😔) If u haven't, GO WATCH THE FIRST EPISODE RN, you won't regret it >:)
Someone said it reminded them of the golden age of Cartoon Network shows and I couldn't agree more, like in the BEST possible way ✨ ALSO- Centaurworld mention?? They also made frickin playlists on Spotify for each character?? What is this peakness??

I don't know what to say about your lil rant, I genuinely feel so honored that you like the comic, and that it reminds you of Cartoon Network. Cartoon Network was SUCH a BIG part of my journey as an artist/animator. I adore so many of the network's shows, and creators.
So seeing my work being compared to that is actually so touching.

Your expressions are AMAZING! I love every little thing about these drawings!
I love the way you used minimal colors on that Mugman, and Cuphead drawing. But the colors you did end up using work SO WELL! And the hash mark coloring style? YES PLEEAASSAAA.
Those Bendy drawings? perfect. I LOVE it when people draw him confused asf, it is so funny to me.
A lot of people think he's more nervous than he actually is. When in reality, mans is just confused as hell. So seeing little drawings like this always crack me up haha.
And those EDGAR DRAWINGS??? HELLO??? HE'S SO ADORABLE!!! Look at hiiimmm, look at that little menace.
That Mugs and Edgar drawing is also so cute, and wholesome, despite the tears lol. AND CHALICE EXCITED ABOUT BREKKY FOR DINNER? YEEESSSS!!! Girl is a sucker for breakfast. Also that little expression you drew her with is amazing.

Second drawing is @boo-topia 's Mugsy !!! She's so cute
Also! These drawings were partly inspired by a conversation I had with Boo and by @dunplimg 's artwork, especially the drawing where the cupbros are eating apples 💞 (both artist are great go check them out NOW!!)
One thing that drives me mad about this show is it kinda just picks and chooses when you should take abuse seriously or not.
When Gangle is being physically abused, made fun of and sexually blackmailed with her drawings and figures, it’s apparently just for shits and giggles while Gangle is left to suffer with only Zooble willing to help her.
When Ragatha opens up about her abusive mother, it cuts to the characters giving blank stares then it’s just brushed aside. When she was thrown into the deep fryer, writhing in pain, it’s supposed to be funny.
Meanwhile J*x talks about the abuse she went through and it’s meant to be taken seriously and be tragic.
Abuse isn’t something that you just play around with and choose when it’s important. Abuse is something SERIOUS that actually ruins people’s lives, so having Gangle and Ragatha’s abuse be downplayed and used as jokes is just extremely fucked up to me, especially since I’ve been in Gangle’s shoes before and relate to her deeply.
How am I supposed to take one characters abuse story seriously if it just points and laughs at another characters abuse story? Do you want me to laugh at their suffering or feel bad for them?

ITS BEEN ONE WHOLE YEAR SINCE WE STARTED OUR JOURNEY AND WE'RE STILL JUST ON CHAPTER 2!!
All jokes aside, this is a love letter to all of you from your good ol' pal Nortsauce. We couldn't have made it this far without your support and love and creativity.

When we first started this project, fly had to cajole me into getting into the story a little bit, as I was a little intimidated by the premise. They burst into my room at around 2-3am holding Hailey Senpai's voice dub right to my still-waking face, and made a bet with me saying "I bet you could rewrite this." I was hesitant. But after seeing so many awesome rewrites, I say down and decided "Ah what the heck. Lets have fun with it."
And WE rewrote it :]
We spent nights upon nights throwing ideas at each other, sitting in our bedrooms at 9pm for the last few weeks of June, hammering down what we wanted and using our giant whiteboard to write out a timeline.
By the time we had come up with a pretty good premise, fly said that it was too fun not to do an ask blog, just like the good ol' days, but they were scared to do it. This was another point of my hesitancy, as my previous ask blogs were kind of stressful. I told them to do whatever they wanted, but they never did it.
Finally, i got the stick out of my ass, and I made it for them. I made the hyperlink, I made the hashtag system, I set up the profile and i spent an HOUR figuring out the stupid "Read from the beginning" link (that was later) I made a pfp and fly made a banner.
And it was done!
It never would have happened if fly and i didn't just say "Screw it." And forced each other to start the project.
Now we are here, we have a wonderful community, we have so many ideas, and best of all (my personal favorite)
We have so many new stories being told!!!
It feels like i'm a kid again. I'm always excited to talk about ideas with fly, discuss with friends, answer silly questions, see all the comic dubs, the art, the fan fictions the poetry the songs.
That people are loving creating art again.
I hope to see so much more. So many more stories, so many more characters, so many ideas, so many new friends.
