●I am a staunch anti-proshipper and I am very vocal about it. I am not up for any arguments. Proshippers and the like, as well as anyone who interacts with them, are blocked on sight.

you do realize that cishet men deciding to goof around with things that are traditionally feminine doesn't automatically mean that they're queer, right? you understand that?

"see you during your transition sweetie! 😘" "which could mean nothing!" are the same bitches who decry the gender binary and say shit like "makeup has no gender!" "clothes have no gender!" "your self expression doesn't equal your gender!" it's almost like y'all see queerness as inherently feminine. hmm.
maybe this is a hot take, but goofing around with gender expression isn't restricted to queer people, nor should it be. cishet men can wear skirts and eyeliner. cishet girls can bind and cut their hair short. cishet people can get funky with presentation and still be happy as their agab. stop reinforcing gender binaries by calling every seemingly cishet person who decides to deviate from gender norms an egg

Let's make it even simpler. Calling someone who self-identifies as a man a woman is misgendering them. It doesn't matter how many trans women you know, it doesn't matter if you're a trans woman yourself, in the moment you are misgendering someone, and that's cruel. Full stop. Respect people's self-identification.
Gender-associated set dressing (makeup, clothes, floral/MAN scents, any of it) should be available for everyone who wants to play with them, but not required of any one subset of humanity.
its obvious to me that this whole obsession with edgy subversive art is white artists attempt to create something counterculture in a culture where they are the dominant power regardless of what their art is like due simply to them being white. whether it be a white transgender queer making art of two incestuous siblings cutting eachother sexually or a white republican making an episode of hollywood television where rhe characters do a line of coke and accidental blackface, these "edgy subject materials" are the only way they know how to define themselves or their politics from other white artists. white art is the assumption, the expectation, and thus there is not any kind of art in my opinion that a white person can make that is truly counter culture. it's the closest thing they can get to feeling like a misunderstood artist before their time. this is why their identities and politics become centered around their ~freedom~ to be this sick and twisted, because it makes them feel like their art has meaning and purpose in a culture where they are already ontop. they want to know what it feels like to have a culture that counters the mainstream, and because they haven't actually expefienced what its like to be an artist of color whos art is suppressed the only things they can bring to the table is the things THEY'VE had suppressed in the past: their own racist past, and their bizarre sexual desires they feel ashamed of. it's literally all they have.

Life hack for TF2 digital artists: draw Scout's tattoo by itself and save it as a transparent PNG so you can paste it on his chest instead of drawing it every time. When he's at an angle, use the liquefy tool, or otherwise just move and adjust it accordingly :D
