Richard Williams Reveals Details About His Secret Animated Film
Why are you asking yourself a question?
I don't know
I'm very bad at proportions when it comes to realistic or semi-realistic art. So I've been practising by drawing something in under 20 minutes.

How to improve your art
Many people stop drawing because they think they're no good. Amazing artists like Jon Kirby and Chuck Jones weren't how they are when they started, they were just like you.
I've devised an exercise you can perform to improve your art skills. To some people this may look like plagiarism, but it's just meant to give you a head start in creating your own original art.
1. Find an artwork you like. I'm going to use this back to the future the game concept art
Now I'm going to trace it
link to image: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=559575737415686&set=a.559575620749031.1073741825.100000897943495&type=3&theater
After you trace it, draw the image again, but this time trace less. (I only traced the eyes, nose, eyebrows and body) link: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=559575690749024&set=a.559575620749031.1073741825.100000897943495&type=3&theater
Now try to draw it without any tracing. Changing it is encouraged. link: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=559575710749022&set=a.559575620749031.1073741825.100000897943495&type=3&theater
Even if your art doesn't come out looking as good as the source material it's a start.
Challenge: draw the image from scratch, but add something to it and draw it in a different style. (the face is a bit different. added lower body) link:http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=559575774082349&set=a.559575620749031.1073741825.100000897943495&type=3&theater
It has been a surprisingly long time since I’ve drawn Scotty, but I really do like this one a lot. It feels like an amalgamation of everything he’s ever been, but new at the same time. Big animation assignment this week. We’re going to see him in action!
An idea I’ve been messing around with for a while, doodled out of spite for homework.
I think it’s a passage of right for every “sonic kid” to take their own spin on Sonic’s design at least once. Based him mostly off of my grumpy ass hedgehog Pogo.
THIS IS AWESOME

This is my attempt at re creating Yoji Shinkawa's art style with only a felt pen and pencil.
I don't think the art looks like Yoji's work, but I'm still happy how it came out, considering this was my first attempt and that I did it straight in pen and shaded it in pencil, it looks decent.
