Mr. Frodo, wake up.
bell flower, foxglove, waxflower, golden rod, and marigold :)
Bell flower: What’s the title of the song that makes you want to jump around out of joy?
Probably “This Life,” by MercyMe, because I want to start dancing whenever I hear it.
Foxglove: What is your favorite color and in what shade?
Navy blue.
Waxflower: Are you a bee or a butterfly person? A dog or a cat person?
Bumblebees and cats, although I do like butterflies and dogs as well.
Golden rod: Are you more of a baker or a cook?
I’m still trying to figure that out, but I think I lean more towards baking.
Marigold: What’s your favorite tea?
Prince of Wales tea. I found some a few years ago and decided to try it, and it’s been my favorite ever since.
Thanks for the ask! :)
musical theatre meme: (¼) characters: bert (mary poppins)
you’d never think of pressing your advantage. forbearance is the hallmark of your creed. a lady needn’t fear when you are near, your sweet gentility is crystal clear. oh, it’s a jolly holiday with you, bert.
126 years ago, a boy with three names was born in Bloemfontein, South Africa. He fought in the trenches in World War I, taught Anglo-Saxon and English Language and Literature at Oxford, translated Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and Beowulf, contributed to the Oxford English Dictionary, participated in an informal literary club called The Inklings, and, in 1937, published a book called The Hobbit which defined high fantasy as a genre.
Happy Birthday, Professor Tolkien.
‘I am in fact a Hobbit in all but size.’
Happy Birthday J.R.R. Tolkien!

Leia, I’m sorry. I know. I know you are. I’m just glad you’re here… at the end.
I went to see The Greatest Showman today, and the more musicals I see Hugh Jackman in, the more confused I am about where Wolverine came from.
Then pealed the bells more loud and deep:
“God is not dead nor does He sleep.
For Christ is here; His spirit near
Brings peace on earth, good will to men.”
- I Heard The Bells on Christmas Day
Is any pleasure on earth as great as a circle of Christian friends by a good fire?
