16. Demons I get, people are crazy. Kinda writing and kinda life blog. Going Crazy.

Eye contact is my love language. Looking into people's eyes is my way of showing that I trust them. To me looking into someone's eyes is sacred. It makes me realise the depth of their feelings with the wish that they can see the same in mine. Eyes have a language which is the best to convey emotions. No matter which one it is love, hate or anger. I think this is the reason that eyes are mentioned and described so many times in books. When someone describes eye colour they convey the time that they spent looking and thinking about them. Our eyes are windows to our soul.

How do I tell people that I love them, love them so much that my every pore is just bursting with it. How do I tell them that the very thought of them hurting sends shivers running down my spine and God forbid if they are the one's hurting themselves. How do I tell them that I'd rather switch places with them then see them suffer, that no matter what I'd give them my peace in a heartbeat and take their hell upon myself. How do I show them that how wonderful and amazing they are in my eyes. How do I tell them that they are loveable to me just by being the beautiful people they are that being them is the only and biggest reason behind my love for them. How do I tell them that helping them, cherishing them gives me a reason for my existence. How do I tell them that they are as awesome and infinitely wonderful to me like the stars, the sky and the seas. How do I fit all this in just an I love you. HOW?????

No one should have a perfect and unmarked skin. Everyone should have scars and marks to tell their stories. Scars telling how horrible parents can be sometimes . A scar and a hole in my jawbone from when I was eight and fell in my bathroom dancing in the shower. Scars showing childhood fun and dumbness. A scar on my knee from when I fell running behind my school bus after seeing off a friend. Scars showing friendship. One when I was helping my mother in the kitchen shredding coconut and accidentally shredded my thumb. Scars that teach to be careful. A slightly chipped tooth from when I sewed a notebook for my friend with all my love packed in it. Scars showing love, Scars from battels I fought with my demons and lost but eventually won the war. Scars showing strength and spirit. Our skin should be a tapestry of the life we have lived.

I don't understand how older people can say that we enjoy COVID that it's like a blessing to us just cause we were at our homes. Like no, fuck you, we had a rough time as well. We lost friends and family to this cursed disease our loved ones who we weren't able to meet for a long time. We spent some of our supposed best years locked in and scared for our lives as well as that of others. We shouldn't be scared off on watching TV and seeing large crowds without masks. We should be free. We should be happy. WE SHOULDN'T BE AFRAID. SO DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT WE HAVE IT EASY. Or for the fact enjoy it.

This is the progress I made yesterday. It seems quite rough but some sanding will do wonders to it so I am not worrying much about the texture. The centre hole took me about 20 minutes and a screwdriver to make.
