Progress shot on my drawing project. “This is Versailles” An accurate architectural elevation of seven floors along the wall in front of the great hall of mirrors. This cross section of the palace of Versailles shows thirty eight rooms including two libraries, three state bed chambers, seven staircases, eight passageways, four attic spaces three bathrooms and one of the very few toilet’s installed in the entire palace at the time of King Louis XVI & Queen Marie Antionette. Plan: I have eight rooms left to decorate, then I plan to more thoroughly furnish all the rooms and then populate with the historical characters of the time.
