Apparently the current proposed name of the hypothetical ninth planet is Persephone which is such a good name I’m mad I didn’t think of it.

Allow me to explain why it’s such a great name:

It pays homage to Pluto, previously known as the ninth planet, since Persephone was Pluto/Hades’s wife in Greek Mythology

It helps make up for the gender inequality in the names of planets, since Venus is the only other planet named after a woman

If it exists, it’d be the coldest planet in the Solar System, and in Greek Mythology, it was Persephone’s time spent in the underworld that caused winter

• please dont get mad at your child when they open up to you and it has something to do with you and then wonder why they spend half their time in their room like a hermit and never open up to you.

• dont treat them like shit and wonder why they dont respect you.

• dont bribe them to do what you want by offering them a “treat” if they do what you want OR EVEN WORSE THREATEN TO TAKE THEIR PERSONAL BELONGINGS AWAY IF THEY DONT DO WHAT YOU WANT ALL THE TIME.

• dont deny that you are in a bad mood and then blame them for every problem that caused your mood

• dont deny that you have made a mistake and messed up.

• dont deny their mental instabilities/disorders.

• get the medication they need.

• get the therapy they need.

SO BASICALLY

DON’T FUCKING EMOTIONALLY ABUSE YOUR KIDS BECAUSE EMOTIONAL ABUSE IS ABUSE TOO.

I CAN LITERALLY TELL YOU FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE THAT ALL OF THESE THINGS FUCK UP A KID’S LIFE AND RUIN THEIR PERSONALITIES.

Thank you, I have a couple friends who struggle with this and they way you were able to put this into a comic helped them a lot and if you’re going through this too. I struggle in trying to help them have more faith in themselves when so many others try to tear them down and it’s seeing art like this that helps them and puts thoughts into words that need to be said. The art is well done and the message is amazing.
