“What is my sacrifice? I’m condemned to use the tools of my enemy to defeat them. I burn my decency for someone else’s future. I burn my life to make a sunrise that I know I’ll never see. And the ego that started this fight will never have a mirror or an audience or the light of gratitude. So what do I sacrifice? Everything!”
ANDOR: Episode 9 (2022–) ROGUE ONE(2016)
Cassian inspiring people to rebel with his words
#character development
Andor having Mon Mothma’s daughter gravitate towards the oppressive practices of her family’s ancestral culture as a way to rebel against a mother that has purposefully distanced herself from them is both one of the smartest and cruelest storytelling moves that this show has done to date. Ouch ouch ouch
Andor + Onion headlines, because it was either make memes or scream into the void some more.

love when the cast is as smart as the show

ANDOR 12. Rix Road
kino’s “i can’t swim” ending is just as heartbreaking as nemik’s accidental death and there’s a valid (and i bet intentional) reason why they both feel so unsatisfying: there’s nothing romantic in fighting against the empire. there’s no such thing as a “warrior’s death” or “honorable death”. it’s all a mess. there’s only recklessness, sweat and death.
ANDOR 12. Rix Road
Just realized why the colors of the rebellion are orange and white.
They’re fucking prison colors. The fucking rebels reclaimed colors the Empire uses to strip people of their lives and identities, and turned it into a symbol of motherfucking hope.
I love this fucking show.
