Anyway here's some info on Costa Rica during her colonial days:

The first design on the left is Costa Rica around the beginning of her colonization in 1502 and her age appearance was around 5-8. Settlement of Costa Rica began in 1522. The colony was described to be one of the most miserable and poorest Spanish colonies of all America. she didn't really socialize much and was very weak, lonely and isolated. In fact, the land was so poor that even the governor had to farm his own crops and also to the lack of indigenous people.As a child she really wanted to grow up fast due to how miserable and weak she was. Her clothes are tattered because of her poverty, she has many scars due to her weakness as well. Her hair was very messy as well, also the flower in her hair is a Guaria Marada. The second design on the right is Costa Rica when the true conquistador of Costa Rica, Juan Vásquez de Coronado arrived as a governor in 1562, Costa Rica was physically 10-14 at the time. He treated the surviving indigenous people more humanely and moved the few existing Spanish settlers into the Cartago Valley, where the temperate climate and rich volcanic soils offered the promise of crop cultivation. Costa Rica was mainly used for agriculture during the colonial days due to the rich soil. Due to the constant farming and having to fend for herself, she got many scars for this as well. ))

To answer your question, I’m partially Costa Rican ahaha my family is Mexican but my great-granduncle was from Costa Rica but I found out after I created this OC ))

Her absolute favorite food is Gallo Pinto, a traditional dish made with rice and beans. It’s probably her favorite because it’s easy to make and can be eaten for most meals. ))
