Hello, this blog is run by @whenworldscolide1209 who is also the mod of @ask-dawnanddusk, @ask-the-fogbound-serpent, and @watchful-lady-of-shadows! This is a side blog with no connection to my other blogs.
This blog will primarily be a written blog, with drawings done occasionally. It'll focus more on interactions and world building, so it has no plot.
My art blog is @morva-doodles! I tend to post character sheets for this blog there, alongside other art.

STOMP, STOMP, STOMP echoed from the mouth of the cave, the faint rumbling of voices heard beneath the overbearing sound. Soon after, two figures exited, the smaller one carefully keeping pace with the larger, who was struggling to move properly. The large figure stumbled and stepped forward carefully, like a newborn fawn finding its footing.
The two stopped right outside of the cave, the Volcanion lowering his head and taking a moment to catch his breath, squinting in the light of the morning sun. Geode stood close by, keeping a careful eye on the struggling ‘mon.
“Are you certain you don’t want me to carry her?”
“I already told you, I can carry her. I might have slept in, but I can do this at the very least. This strength is the bare minimum that damn spell could do, putting me to sleep for so long,” the Volcanion grumbled that last part mostly to themself.
Geode nodded, clearly displeased but accepting the others choice, “Very well, but if you need help in carrying her, please let me know. I am more than willing to share the weight.”

??? the Volcanion is now open for asks! Ask hints have been updated.
Finally, you have arrived at the deepest part of the cave system, where you will activate the spell you were granted. Activating the spell will send you into a deep sleep. For how long, you do not know. It could be weeks, months, even years. But the one thing it is guaranteed to do is heal all your wounds. It is a risk you must take to live.
As you sealed the cave shut, the soft rings of the music box rang out, lulling you to sleep. And here did you slumber for time innumerable, until The Shattering ended and you awoke to a world new and foreign, with the hollow body of your companion as your only company.
Down the main, centre path, you exit the narrow hall into a larger room. It is here where you find the catalyst for the spell, a small box which once belonged to the origin of all mortal pokemon, made of ice, stone, and steel. You try not to think of all those lost. Soon, you would not think at all.
Stumbling your way down the right path, you grumble and groan at its length, doing your best not to agitate your already wounded body. Much longer than the last, it was a struggle to make your way to the end.
However, as you reach the end, you spy a stone glowing with unnatural, molten heat. The warmth chases away the cold that had crept into your bones, relieving some of the pain and stress that had made itself at home. Moving a little bit easier now, you return to where you entered.
You steel yourself. It is time to explore the middle path.
Trudging your way down the left path, the end is blessedly quick to find, putting only a little strain on your injured body. When you reach the end, what you seek is easy to find, glowing like a beacon in the dim light of the cave.
There, in the centre of the room, shines the green feather of a friend long past, guaranteed to chase away any fearsome nightmares which may plague your sleep. With all you have seen, a peaceful rest is something precious and blessed.
You take the feather gently, and return to where you entered. Now it is time to explore the right path.
Entering the hidden cave at the behest of those above, you struggle to remain conscious. Days of exhaustion and wounds have finally caught up to you. If nothing is done, you will surely die.
Luckily, you have been gifted a spell which will heal you, but at a great cost. Though you hesitate to use it, you relented at the encouragement of your comrades.
Only one item, the one you sense directly in front of you, is needed for the spell to work, but you can sense two other gifts to your left and right. You have time to check both, but you must do so quickly.
Chatter filled the air as the ship's crew busied themselves, the slow rise and fall of noise like that of the swaying tides. The ship, great and powerful, was well loved and maintained by the crew. Currently, it was anchored on the uninhabited side of a large island, a temporary rest spot before they continued sailing.
The crew was a mix of pokemon and humans, and they were certainly a noisy and dramatic bunch. It wasn't long before a squabble made itself known on the ship's deck, with the two perpetrators being a moltres and articuno. They cawed and jeered at each other, taking pecks at one another as they playfully fought. Unfortunately, the disturbance they caused did not go unnoticed by their captain.
“OY!” Larimar roared down at the two legends, voice stern, “If the two of ya are so keen to kick up a commotion, get your tails off the ship until you’ve decided ta calm down!”
Ever obliging (and looking to avoid their captain's ire), the two birds quickly hopped off the ship, crowing at each other as they went and quickly disappearing into the thick brush of the nearby island. It was a good thing it was uninhabited on this side, as the sound of the two birds crashing through the underbrush would surely have drawn attention as easily as a moth to flame.
With a huff, Larimar turned back to the Zapdos at her side, silently watching the exchange.
“Everything well, Varze?
“Aye, m'lady, the winds are blowing steadily.”
“When are they not? Now, it's best we get moving soon, I don’t want us lingering here for too long. Make sure the crew gets everything they want done before they depart, aye?”
“I’ll ensure everything is in order.”
As the short interaction concluded, the sound of approaching wingbeats drew Larimar’s eye. She hadn't expected the two bickering birds to return so quickly, and was wary as to why. She didn't trust that they wouldn't make another commission the moment they landed.
So to say Larimar was pleasantly surprised to see Sphene following behind the two legendary birds was an understatement. Perking up, the Lugia took off with a couple swift flaps, eager to greet her love.

(Sphene and Larimar are now in the same area! When directing questions at one, you may get the other chiming in as well.)
"Hey! A god such as yourself is free to ask me anything. But the answer is pretty simple. He didn’t impress me. Quite the opposite in fact." She stated nonchalantly.
"So of course, the best way to find a mate like that is through combat. Not much more to it than that." The mienshao explained as she slid the corpse to the side with her foot.

(If that’s all there was to it, why didn’t she let him go?)
“...Whilst I am flattered you would offer me such a thing, I am not searching or interested in a partner. I also fear that, due to complications between realms, it would be a difficult relationship to maintain,” Geode politely declined. While her passion was admirable, Geode was not and had never been interested in a romantic relationship with another, and It was unlikely that would change any time soon. Their brother would certainly approve of her fire though, they mused.
“Nevertheless,” they continued, “I do hope you are able to find a suitable companion. Though it may be difficult considering your great strength, this world is just as vast. I am certain you will find someone much more suited than I.”
(@ask-faceted-gods) “Shadow energy, hmm?” Sphene mused, tilting her head in thought. “Long, long ago I dealt with something similar to what you described. The affected individuals were in a terrible state, and battles against them were long and hard. The fact that you deal with them so regularly is very impressive.” She smiled down at the two partners, “I’m happy to hear you’re not alone either. If you’re willing to share I’d love to hear more about those you work alongside!”
"I'm....that means a lot to hear-"Camilla sniffs and wipes her eyes.
"Sorry about that, heh- anyways, yeah! I'd love to tell you about my friends/teammates/cool people I work with!"
"We've been friends for a long time, so it's so cool that we're both magical girls together! She knows how to cast WAYYYY more complicated spells than me- she tries to be modest about it, but like, she's so awesome!"
"She's really strong- you should see her with her crudgel! She works really really hard- she does softball along with school AND being a magical girl! I don't know how she does it- believe me, I've tried."
"I wish I knew why he was so sulky all the time...He's SUPER fast! He's reaaalllyyyy good at skating, and he's fun to play video games with! Speaking of, I should ask him to play a round of MagiKart with me when I get back! Maybe that'll cheer him up."
"It's also the team healer! They can make shields, too. She's a lot more experienced than the rest of us and gives really good advice on how to do magical stuff!"
"Oh! And their Pokemon partners, too! There's Fable, Sage, Taz, and Belle!"
“So, why did you swing by to say hello?” Sphene asked, curious. “I mean, I’m not complaining, but surely there’s more to it than that, right?”
Zondus hummed, shuffling around for a moment, searching for something in the cloud he sat upon. “You’re right there, my girl, I’ve got a couple things to deliver to you!” he pulled out two small envelopes, and handed them to Sphene. Pointing towards the one coloured a soft cream, he said “This is a message from Larimar’s Other to her and her crew. Figured since you’re heading over to her anyway it’d be more efficient.”
“And the second one?”
“That is a message from the Queen of Gates,” Sphene's eyes widened for a moment before nodding in a ‘yeah, that tracks’ manner, “Ha, I had the same reaction! It’s an invitation to their annual meeting, and they want you there this year, probably because of your role in their restoration. You never know with their ilk, a tricky folk they are,” Zondus mused as Sphene flipped the closed envelope over, examining the dark paper and bright accents. It had small dots along the entire thing, looking like a smattering of stars. “It’s a good thing you gained their favour as a mortal, hm?”
“Oh, definitely. They helped me out a ton back then, it’s only right I visit them myself if they ask for my presence. Hopefully they don’t need my help too urgently. I mean, why else summon me after all this time?”
“I haven't a clue. I say keep an eye on the lookout for any trouble, but don't fret too much. If it was truly urgent they wouldn't be waiting so long. Now, I best be off. I’ll speak to you again soon, my dear!”
“Yeah, you’re right. Thanks Zondus! I’ll be sure to visit you again soon!”
(@ask-faceted-gods) “It is not often I have the chance to meet another of my kind. It is a pleasure to meet you,” Geode greeted the other Zygarde with a gentle incline of their head. “I am known as Geode. If I may ask, what is your name, and what is it you seek to accomplish on this lovely isle? Are you merely here for rest, or is there something else which draws you close?”
Well! The dragons of this world know me as Allfather, should they ever cross paths with me.
To those I am most fond of, I am Kwaku. It's both quite a casual way to refer to me, but just as much reverential.
But if either of those don't work...
I came to accompany Lord Series while they rest and recover on this island! I do love the tropics dearly, so this is hardly a chore for myself.
I also have some business to attend to with the Resplendent One, once he makes his return to this isle.
And what of you? Are you taking the time to rest from your own duties?
(( @ask-faceted-gods ))
((Wednesday and Series' refs have been added to the blog's toyhouse repository))
“I also wish you and your Lord the best in his recovery. My Lord, though good and kind, similarly struggles, and so I understand the challenges you both no-doubt face. It is good that you are here for him to rely on.”
“I myself am similarly taking the time to rest for a moment as others prepare. You see, due to past events much was lost to us, but recently a miraculous discovery was made on what remains. Proper restoration, however, takes time, and in a manner I myself cannot aid with directly. I wait now until the time is right for me to join them in healing.”
(@ask-faceted-gods) Geode approached Jean carefully, eyeing the disguised legend for a moment before speaking. “...Do forgive the intrusion, however I overheard you discussing Eternatus and became curious myself. Do you have any theories as to why Eternatus caused such bloodshed, the slaughter of innocents? The idea of a Legendary performing such an act and other Legends going along with it willingly, much less worshiping the monster, is very troubling,” they let out a small huff, clearly perturbed, “Hmf, no worthy caretaker would ever allow such a thing to occur, though I have to wonder if there is another reason as for why your Mew, super-ancients, or Arceus did not interfere."
[Jean]
"So, let me tell you a bit about how legendaries in our universe works."
"We operate on a bit of a hierarchy. It goes from weakest to strongest. If you are on a tier higher than another tier, you are usually worshipped as a god/deity by the tiers below you."
"Mythicals are... somewhere."
"15 years ago, this hierarchy was turned on its head."
"Half of the bottom-most tier was killed in a war. Mew's position as Earth's Guardian was usurped and filled by Eternatus himself. The Super Ancients and Arceus seem to be doing nothing about the situation, and the Creation Trio has seemingly either vanished or joined with Eternatus."
"That is how I, and the other gods see the situation right now."
"We have absolutely NO IDEA, why or how Eternatus started the genocide against humans and took a position as a god. I have a couple theories that seem feasible to me."
"These theories don't explain why the genocide of humans was necessary, but, it's all I've got with the information I have."
"However! As an unwilling participant of the war, I do have a motive for why he did it!"
"During the first hours of his takeover, he projected a message into the minds of all Pokemon. It was very long, and I don't remember a lot of it, but it basically boiled down to-"
"Humans are flawed creations of God. They must be eliminated."
"During the war, I heard a lot of talk about how this war must be to stop human abuse and takeover of Pokemon once and for all. That's what many of the Pokemon believed."
Jean wrings out her flippers.
"Gosh, sorry for talking so much. I just have so many thoughts, all the time."
"I'll say this last thing; nobody knows why the Pokemon more powerful than Eternatus didn't try to stop him. All I can think was that they approved of what he was doing... But, is this really something they would just... allow?"
(@ask-faceted-gods) “Hoy there!” Larimar called, carefully landing near One and giving it a nod in greeting. “Hope ya don’t mind me popping in to ask a question, but I was curious. Why are you here in this city? Any particular reason you decided to rest here and take on the form of a mortal pokemon?”
[One]
"Because it... blew up. I can't live in it anymore. My cave is gone."
"Oh, and... I take the form of Espurr because my true form is. Large."
"I like to sit near the windmills. I don't want to knock them over."
