"Well, thats my job Connor.. I'm your cousin, family should be there to make life easier for you..." She pulled him into a hug, gently rubbing soothing circles. Life hadn't been easy for either of them, they'd both lost their parents through different means; Connor's had passed away and Lucy's had been locked away but they'd found each other with their uncle Hank. They knew that when all else failed they had a man to turn to, to guide them, and to love them. Throughout everything, no matter what happened, Lucy knew she could fall back on Connor and Hank, they were her family. She would always be there to make shit that little bit easier for them.

Connor gave a small smile, wrapping his arms around her in return.
“God, I don’t know what I’d do without you,” his head flopped down onto her shoulder as he let out a breathy chuckle, “And Uncle Hank.” The three of them were all each others’ lifelines, each of them there to support the others. He was glad for it. They’d all been through so much, both apart and together.
