Immediately they notice that their arms are wrapped around the Fox and that their face is maybe an inch away from hers. Careful to not move much and wake her, they look around the boat and remember the events that happened before they fell asleep...]
[The fox looks-... Peaceful, for once. She always seemed a bit tense when he was awake, and even now, a moment after Sherbert woke up, he's seeming to get tense again as he stirs in his sleep.]
[In the split second where she looks peaceful, Sherbert smiles. They're tempted to kiss him, but decide against it. Instead they move back to where they were when they were asleep, nuzzling his neck.]

(I'd be more calm with them if the mouse used any of those pronouns. mouse using they/them makes it harder to get them mixed up. together, they're like every major pronoun)
