Hello there. My name is Andred. Former Castellan and former Commander of the Chancellery Guard on Gallifrey. Just before the last Civil War on Gallifrey, I was murdered. But then came the Time War. Apparently they were in need of the best soldiers they could find...so they resurrected me. I was on a suicide mission, ironically, when my Battle TARDIS fell through a gap in the fabric of reality. I crashed and ended up on Sol 3 - I believe the locals call it 'Earth'. Not quite going out in the blaze of glory I had expected. My wife never knew that I was resurrected. Not that it matters any more. She's probably dead... ((This is an independent RP account for the Time Lord 'Andred' from Doctor Who. Will roleplay with anyone. Credit goes to bystander3 whose Gallifrey fanvids inspired me to use Ben Browder as a faceclaim. Rather coincidentally I've just found out Ben Browder is going to guest star in Doctor Who. Hah.))

"Tempted as I am to say yes to that..." Andred replied dryly.

"No, I've been Andred since the day I died. Rassilon had a selection of Time Lords and soldiers resurrected to fight in the Time War. I was one of the one's selected. I...didn't get to choose what body or personality to come back in, however. Didn't even get to choose whether I was resurrected or not to fight, either. However, I'm sure you'll be glad to know that Torvald is gone now."

He regarded Narvin closely. "Do you...know about the Time War?"

Attention all Whovians and Doctor Who fandom, I desperately need your help!

The other day I had an argument with my friend over this Classic Who character, Andred. She stated that only the most dedicated Whovians know who Andred is because he only appeared in one serial. I contradicted her by saying there were quite a few Whovians who know who he is and that it didn’t matter if he was only in one serial because he lived on through other mediums like the classic books and Big Finish audios.

So now it’s my task to back up my rebuttal and to prove her wrong. I really need your help with this. Please reblog this post if you know who this is. Seriously, this guy needs more love. Kudos and cookies abound if you’re a Nuwhovian or if you haven’t actually seen The Invasion of Time and still know who Andred is. :D

...As a matter of fact, no. Quite the opposite in fact.

[He introduced himself] Commander Andred of the House of Deeptree, former Castellan and member of the Chancellery Guard on Gallifrey.

And you are?

“She’s my wife. It’s every bit my concern.” Andred leant with his back against the wall, wondering if he had the strength to go and find her. Warn her before it was too late.

“I can understand why you’d want Narvin. Not that I’d wish your kind of treatment on anyone - not even, Rassilon forbid, Narvin. Anyway, if he’s being brought to you, I’d rather not be here when he is - so thanks but I think I’ll skip the reunion.”

With great effort he pulled himself away from the wall, staggering slightly as went to attempt to retrieve his staser.

“Off you go then.” [She grinned] Watching him barely able to support himself.  ”You will never be able to escape from me. I will always be inside your head,” she replied feeling smug.

He muttered curses under his breath.

For that, as soon as he reached his staser he fired a shot at her. He hoped it had hit, but his hand wasn't steady.

"Just stay out of my way and don't go touching anything that doesn't belong to you," he told her, still unsteady on his feet. And with that he began to walk away.

“Oh you know Andred. You serve a purpose so does your wife. Leela isn’t it? We had a nice little chat. She’s bringing Narvin to me. It’s going to be such a  nice little reunion for you both.

Andred suddenly tensed up. “Leela. What have you done to her, you better not have harmed her. Keep away from her!” He shook his head. “What have you been saying to her? She’d never give you Narvin.”

“Don’t  be so sure. She has gone to fetch him  for me. I haven’t done anything to Leela  - she’s not important to my plans so you don’t need to worry about it. Even if she was. it is none of your concern.”
