The characters of Sherlock Holmes, Dr. John Watson, and company have appeared in many situations, alternative universes, and adaptations throughout the decades. With this in mind, we at GridLOCK DC wanted to try something new: a con specific fan zine to bring together stories involving our favourite characters in an unfamiliar setting – Washington, D.C. We are calling on you, Sherlockians, to create short drabbles, doodles, and more that capture our beloved detective in the nation’s capital.

All we ask is to keep prose at a PG-13 rating between 200-500 words to ensure that we can cram in as much as possible without killing too many trees. The deadline to submit will be July 6, 2015. We look forward to seeing what you come up with, and hope to see you in August at GridLOCK DC 2015! Note: Submissions are not restricted to attendees of GridLOCK DC.
