/ XVII: The Star – Cygnus

The Star Arcana is also commonly associated with hope, self-confidence, faith, altruism, luck, generosity, peace and joy. The star is a guiding light; an assuring sign that one is on the right path, or a glimmering hope for lost souls. Can also symbolize long-term goals; a future that one needs to focus on and mustn’t lose sight of.

As a symbol of the Maple World, Cygnus represents hope and goodness in amidst the darkness brought on by the resurrection of the Black Mage.

/drew this for @martianunicorn‘s maplestory tarot collab! i love the way they managed to relate all the tarot meanings to the characters so well! i’m happy i managed to be part of this! i would’ve loved to do the devil: orchid and lotus one but i only knew about this after the app deadline.... but cygnus would’ve been my second choice so yayzers!
