This was supposed to be uploaded yesterday, but I started it late and before I could finish it I was kicked off the internet, sorry about that

Ironically there is a huge gap between when these 2 questions were posted, but they fit so well together that I couldn’t let it slide

Also Ferucci has randomly turned into a winged green cat, don’t get used to it because he’ll randomly be back to normal by the next post, isn’t fiction fun? :3

Interesting story, I was having trouble with the hind legs when making a concept sketch for this (first time I done that), the sitting pose made him look like a frog, but then my real life cat came up and pestered me like she normally does (she usually complains for food she already has, to stand by the door to go outside to come back in/admire the view then run away or to get fuss and still make equally as much a noise when she gets it), I was ignoring her and she sat on the the sofa in the exact pose I was trying to get, I observed her and realized where I was going wrong, first time she accidentally helped me XD

And is it me, or does he look like he would be a familiar with those wings? XD

Heh, nothing serious this time, just light-hearted mockery

For those who don’t know MLP;FIM was made to be entertaining to both little girls and adults (the idea was that if parents were roped into watching it at least give them something worth watching, yes this includes dads as well) so they put some actual effort into it and it ended up appealing to almost everyone, well just goes to show effort can pay off,

Sadly the same truth couldn’t be said for the merchandise, its aimed at the usual target audience and sometimes the lack of effort is blatant, the collectable miniature figures are one of the more notable, there’s dozens of them but almost all of them are recolours of the main characters, those who know who Trixie is will know her hair is not coiled like Rarity’s, well I will give them credits on that the molds of the main characters are really well made…all except Fluttershy that is, she was just a repainted Rainbow Dash and again it shows in the hair

The toy is often nicknamed ‘Flutterdash’ and Fluttershy fans never forgave Hasbro for it, seeing as Ferucci is a Fluttershy fan this is too much of an opportunity to pass up XD

….or ‘Flutterdash’ could have referred to the fan pairing nickname between those two characters as well, but I think sometimes it’s also called ‘Rainbowshy’ so it can be very confusing…aw well its more amusing to tackle this subject X3

Like I said this isn’t soo much a dig at Hasbro but more in good fun, like Ferucci said they are starting to wise up to what an opportunity their large fanbase is and are putting some effort in, even making stuff clearly made for the expanded demographics as opposed to their usual one like IDW’s comic series, not to be confused with the European magazines which are nothing like the source material; they are poorly made and with brain-dead stories. But I’ve seen a couple of pages of the the IDW comics and they looks really good; detailed, funny and one page alone can get one excited to keep reading. It’s much closer to the actual show, can’t wait for them to actually arrive in the UK

Lastly it seems he’s getting worse and worse at his denial XD

Oh nearly forgot, i do actually collect those minifigs myself XD, some are good but most are bad, fortunately a case of 'so bad its good' X3

Double ‘wall of text’ alert, with good reason, one is because Helmut opened his mouth and the other is because, remember when Startdust Dragon squeaked? Well he’s capable of saying a lot more than one mere word, a trait carried over to his expy

Speaking of which, meet ‘Arrow Dragon’ also known as ‘Spearhead’ to his friends, he’s childish and innocent but can be smarter than he gives off, he communicates by squeaking, he is one of the legendary ‘Weapon Dragons’, a group of Dragons who are able to shape shift into weapons, in Spearhead’s case he can turn into an arrow, when launched this arrow travels in a straight path piercing through anything in its way, it can pierce through armor like paper and though a stone wall like it was cardboard, he and the others have  fought in great battles against a great evil, it first appeared 10,000 years ago but they defeated it, it then returned 5,000 years ago but they beat it again, it then returned a few years ago at which point one of the other dragons got sick of it returning all the time and sealed the evil in its own body so they wouldn’t have to deal with that crap again

And like I said Helmut opens his mouth, and whenever he does that I need to remind everyone that sort of person he is doubling with informing the new people who just walked in and saw him, he represents the views on a ‘rabid anti-brony’, not to be confused with ‘anti-brony’. a regular anti-brony is someone who doesn’t like the show but does respect those who do and do understand that threes a difference between the normal and rabid bronies as well. A ‘rabid anti-brony’ on the other hand is more over-obsessive, they are not only someone who hates it but they can’t bear the thought that someone out there likes it, how dare other people have different opinions to them, they judge all fans to be the same and believe the internet is there megaphone to yell their opinions on, they travel all over the net and try to get people to band together to destroy the fandom, their power is in their mind though. The rabid haters so bad that many of the regular anti-bronies are as embarrassed of them as the sane bronies are of their over-obsesses, meaning they are frankly just as bad as some of the people they hate

Hmm, someone who can’t respect the opinion of others and barks demands and complaints at them to do what they think is the right opinion, often to complete strangers? Boy does Helmut fit the bill for that, I had him go to extent of listing other different series that appeal to people outside their target audience (that’s right, ZUN made Touhou Project for Japan and Japan alone, the only reason its spread across the world is because this is the age of the internet), helps hammer how foolish he looks, I mean loads of adults enjoy Pixar right? And these are children’s film, just because it wasn’t made for someone doesn’t make it illegal to enjoy it

So just to clarify I’m not saying you have to like that show, if you don’t like it then you don’t like it, if you have no strong opinion either way then you have no strong opinion either way, that’s up to you, I’m just pointing out how foolish the people who complain about what others enjoy look

In fact Spearhead reflects the opinions of many people I’ve heard of who don’t enjoy the show, hater or no strong option either way, some people say the show is rather well made but just simply not for them

So yea, that’s the reason for their opinions, and whoa that’s long, hope none of this comes out backwards

Wow, big post, I had to split it into 2 separate ones because Tumblr only allows 10 images a post

No surprise it’s a big post since it asks after everyone’s opinions on MLP:FIM, Drogo’s opinions reflect my first thoughts of hearing about it, I first heard about the series in mid-2011 and the series had been going on since late-2010, with how big it was it did kinda feel like I was one of the last to know about it at the time, the other’s character’s opinions on the posts pretty much reflect their personalities

Oh yea, so you know for future, Enzo is a friggin’ bookworm, he spends a lot of his free time reading, interestingly this isn’t based on Twilight, I came up with it before I saw the show, since he’s the most level-headed person I thought I’d give him some of that ‘cultured’ type of crap

Haha, oh Sylph, you got over being heavily upset a bit too fast if ya ask me, she so wacky XD

Happy Valentine ’s Day everyone

Heh, the day after I mention ‘if something big happens I’ll celebrate that’ is the day I remember its V day XD

Thank god I finished this in time, I was so busy I hardly had any time on my computer for most the day and we had a random power cut which we assumed would last till midnight like always meaning I would have to submit this the day after…but fortunately it was only for a few minutes this time

I usually don’t celebrate V day since I’m not in a relationship, but since I’ve heard of some friends who are I thought it would be a good time to wish them well and for anyone else in a relationship, hope you have/had a romantic day

As for ‘Woogy Day’, its an Arfenhouse fandom thing, sorta like ‘Cirno Day’ except that it’s the one day a year we all change our icons into Woogys, as an Arfenhous fan I celebrate it

20th post spectacular…but I won’t do a milestone celebration, I only celebrated my 10th milestone because I had no idea if this account would get as many questions as it has, but now I do know there’s no need to go nuts over every 10th post, if something more interesting happened I’ll probably celebrate that

Heh, I didn’t know if anyone would ask about this or not, but yea the icon was purposely supposed to be crudely drawn because I find it funnier this way, it was created when I first tried setting up the account a year ago

The background on the other hand, that’s a different story, it was one of the last things I was working on along with the video and I really didn’t know what to do, every other background I tried had this distracting checkerboard effect and when I came up with this one I didn’t know any better idea so I just went with it hoping to improve on it on future, the reason I’m not very proud of it is because it’s actually a trace of someone else’s work (can’t post a link because it’s NSFW), usually I’m not comfortable with doing that unless it’s for personal use that I don’t intend to post on the internet (or if it’s an in-joke which it’s not)

So if anyone can suggest a better background, the by all means please do

And wow some of these questions are getting really silly, amazing how silly questions can lead to a gargoyle made out of candy & pastries XD

…And it was all a dream…well at least I didn’t pull a ‘St. Elsewhere’ and say that it all takes place in the imagination of a an autistic child…oh wait I am autistic and it did have to take place in my mind during the planning stage, erm…at least it wasn’t ghosts

Wow, this person went from repeat questions to one that was really fun to answer :D

Well I guess that you can guess that designing a royal guard wasn’t easy, it did help that I did have a template for designing male ponies from designing Soarin’ (for a video that I never finished), but it was fun to do, I noticed details about them that I didn’t notice before like those ears and looking up reference material I found loads of awesome fanart of them, they’re more cool than I gave them credit for, but how was I supposed to know? they only got like a couple of seconds of screen-time. The hardest thing to do was having his head tilt like that because of than dam helmet, I was even starting to think it was a bad idea, fortunately I liked the result. Luna was recycled from my video ‘Rumia & Luna’ so fortunately I didn’t have to start her from scratch so I could finish this today, I will note I do her face more similar to the other ponies than her unique design but I do that simply because whenever I try to copy Hasbro’s style it comes out as an ugly mess, sorry if any Luna fans are offended, the background was recycled from that video out of laziness

I think the hardest thing was working with the legs since im not used to using ponies, facial expression is one thing but to use the legs as arms without them going off-model…dam, why can’t ponies have stretchy noodles for legs? that would be easier

Needless to say I altered the tail and eyes from the standard design so you can still tell it’s Ferucci

Heh, after coming to terms with being a pony I tried to make his dialogue as ‘fan fiction-y’ as possible, mostly for the reason below, it’s also why Luna is rather snarky, I think she’s entered enough dreams to know a bad fan fic when she sees one XD

And yeah, this was a fun question to answer, I don’t know if I would have ever thought to design one of Luna’s Royal Guards (I’ve mostly designed background characters) and I certainly wouldn’t have made one an OC, I seldom make OCs but when I do I hate to put them in too powerful a status and for me a friggin’ royal guard is too powerful a character for me to create (then again, so is a Pegisi), so yea thanks ceresbane ^_^

Isn't it funny when a fictional charter can sometimes temporally become your mouthpiece?

Yeah it’ll probably seem strange but I haven’t actually seen the ‘Gargoyles’ cartoon, I do want to get round to it since Disney has some classic 90s TV Cartoons like Recess and Darkwing Duck, plus I have heard good things about this one as well and a friend even recommended it to me...Also if I had seen it that may have helped me with my final university project the ‘Gargoyle Documentary’ (which for the record follows a separate continuity to my other stuff)

Ah Crow, you and your wacky questions XD, I did my best to make this dragon look like one of the strangest-looking creatures I ever created…unfortunately I have creatures so much more bizarre that they are not worthy of stepping foot on the internet, but those wings do help and yes 10 is not 73 but you can just pretend the other wings are still underground and that this is a very long dragon

I did get some design ideas looking at YuGiOh’s ‘Rainbow Dragon’ as well as the FF8 (haven’t played that game btw) version of the Quetzalcoatl because Aztec Mythology has some weird-ass looking creatures…although the result looks more like the Beanie Baby ‘Inch’ wearing a dragon mask with random wings on its back XD

And thank god JPEGs cut down file size, the last panel was lagging a bit with all those different objects in it

Lastly the sleeping thing will be important for a future post that hopefully I’ll be able to finish tomorrow

It’s the ‘Ferucci & Drogo Show’…

…where sadly I wasn’t high on humor, sorry about that, well at least I had some call backs to ‘4,000 views’ with Drogo’s love of Babybel and his awareness to Crow’s existence, like I said the events of the Channel View Videos did happen, just swap the copyrighted characters with their expies

Most my reason ‘lack of teh funniez’ was that I didn’t have that many dynamite questions…well until after I selected which questions to answer, then after some really good ones poped up >.<, well at least I can try to answer those next

Oh yea, on another note some friends of mine have been trying to get me into MTG and Vanguard, I even got to play both, Vanguard I played earlier this week, complicated to learn at first but it’s defiantly fun once you get the hang of it

And if you don’t know, ‘Duel Monsters’ what the YuGiOh card game is called within the show’s universe and YuGiOh is the card game I play more, especially on the PSP

Yay. ,more pony questions :D

Also my chance to introduce another expy, in this case Cirno’s, meet Sylph, the Elemental Spirit of Wind and based on the mythical creature of the same name, like Cirno she is childish, egotistical and a ‘airhead’, so she still maintains the same character but her appearance and details are different. She has a back-story but I’ll try to be brief on it, she lived a childhood of being teased for her stupidity and before she became an Elemental Spirit she hoped she would have the Element of Fire since it is considered the most powerful but ended up with Wind which was considered the weakest, for extra salt to the wound the person who did get fire ended up becoming the leader of the four Spirits, she tries to prove herself to be more powerful than she actually is in hope of earning everyone’s respect

Oh, and I guess this is the first time Enzo’s on Tumblr but that’s not too important now, all you need to know is that he’s a mongoose and everyone’s ‘straight man’

The person who submitted the question would like to note that English is not his native language and apologies for any grammar errors…let me know if you see any XD

Joking aside I say this is one of the best things about the internet, that people miles across the globe who speak a different language and still enjoy your work (or at least be aware of it) in spite of the common assumption they wouldn’t understand it due to language barriers, I used to get that a lot on YouTube, people would post a comment saying they enjoyed the video, I’d reply telling them that I’m glad they did and then they would respond saying they hoped I could understand what they said since to my surprise it turns out they enjoyed it despite speaking a different language, and I usually respond saying I understood perfectly fine, it can seem strange but when you consider that loads of people watch Japanese videos and listen to Japanese music that they can’t even understand simply because even if you can’t understand it, the product is still enjoyable because its well made

And ya know that, that makes me happy, plus it really shows how the world wide web truly is the world wide web, something that brings us all together…makes it a shame than not everyone who challenges the languages barriers are this friendly but that’s simply just what the internet is like unfortunately

He also explains the reason he didn’t ask a pony question till now is because it’s a mix of that he respects Ferucci when he said “don’t ask me about that” and that he didn’t know if I wanted this blog to turn into a pony-related blog…I guess my reverse psychology in that video didn’t work the way I planned it to

Finally, a pony-related question, seriously I haven’t had one of those since I first launched this account, how strange, I thought I laid the perfect bait

I choose Gligar because according to the bulbapedia Gligar is loosely based on a gargoyle (although its more a cross between a flying squirrel and a scorpion), its evolved form Gliscor is probably more gargoyle-based than Gligar but Gligar is cuter, plus the name is made up of the words ‘Glide’ and ‘Gargoyle’

I did actually watch Digimon and am actually a fan of it, its just Ferucci hasn’t and isn’t…but seriously, I look up ‘gargoyle-mon’ on the digimon wiki and find this thing. What the hell? That doesn’t look anything like a gargoyle, it looks more like someone wanted to design an ‘angel-monster’ but couldn’t think of a good name so just randomly choose ‘gargoyle’, I mean really, gargoyles have bat wings not fluffy bird wings

In my opinion, Digimon does have loads of cool designs but that thing is stupidly named

Anyway, for the heck of it, my favorite Pokémon are Charmelon and Zangoose, my favorite Digimon is Megadramon and my favourite pony out of the mane six is Rainbow Dash

A good friend of mine has been sending me many questions, now’s a good time to try and answer a few of them :)

Introducing the King of the Griffin-Crows…but don’t get too attached because I don’t really plan to use him again…but then again that’s how Ferucci started off soo…who knows?

This is the first character I had to create for this blog and the second Griffin I ever created (first one is on DA), it was rather fun to design him, to make a griffin part crow instead of part eagle…I did cheat with the wings and lower torso (except the tail) though, they were re-used from the last griffin, the arms and hands were hardest part, in the end I mostly gave up and just reused the three-fingered ‘imp hands’ used for many of my characters, including helmut

Meh, im not too worried at what corners I cut, I like how the final result turned out

Heh, the last question was sent from a friend I made recently on skype, she showed me this music video on cheese and after I saw it I just thought to myself “I want to create a cheese-obsessed character now” and with the mentioning of ‘Griffin-Crows’ I thought I’d kill two birds with one stone

On a personal note I myself am rather obsessed with cheese, cheddar to be exact, when I was in campus at university it was a staple cooking ingredient for me, I used it in pasta, pizza, spaghetti, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, tacos and it’s a good snack to nibble on on its own X3

I try to keep most posts funny but this blog is not just comedy but also about trying to humanize the gargoyle a bit and we humans aren’t happy all the time, we can pretend we are and try to hide how we feel but that doesn’t change that some things get us emotional

And personally I don’t believe in trying to create an emotional moment and then just ruin it with a joke, other people may think that’s ok but not me, when there’s a moment that’s meant to get to us then that should be the last thing in our minds when the scene ends, it takes away impact if it isn’t

I don’t know if I got this right, trying to break out of comedy and do those ‘touching moments’ has always been tough for me, then again I was told i did get it right in FSE so maybe I got it right this time as well
