You’re very RAD but also INCREASINGLY AGITATED about those around you. You like to PLAY VIDEO GAMES, specifically, DATING SIMS. All of the pros of TROLL TO TROLL INTERACTION without all of the messy EMOTIONAL TURMOIL AND DYING. You try to keep all of your VAGUE ANXIETIES on the down low though. Like you said, you’re very RAD so a good portion of the time, NOBODY NOTICES.

Summer HW Hiatus

Its been really hard for me to do this, but I have to. I need to log out of Tumblr and not log back in for a while. I’m not sure how long. So for an indefinite amount of time I just have to be gone and I know for AUs that isn’t something that can usually fly. I’ll be working out my situation with the various leaders of blogs but I’ll be leaving some AUs. When I get back from my hiatus all of the blogs I’ve said I’ll be ending will be deleted after I reblog their content onto this, my art blog. I’ll also be either offline from Skype or completely logged out from it. I can’t make it clear enough how much these distractions have been hindering my priorities. I’m in a bad place. 

This really sucks because I’ve gotten so many good questions that I want to answer and you’ve all been such lovely followers and creative askers. And that’s what makes it so hard to leave. I’ll see you all again when I can, Sincerely, Franky.

This blog has been very kind to me. It was my first AU and the friends and community I gained with it has always brought me so much joy. I’m really sorry to see it go. I need to leave this AU, so please, if you want Damara Pyrope you should go and get her. I’m excited to see what you will make with her and what character relationships you create. 

One of the bitter-sweet things about leaving this blog is that it has the most followers of any of my blogs. Not only that but it recently breached 1,000. I’m so happy you’ve all been here for my journey with Damara as my muse and if you want to see more of my work please check out @frootsky as it is my main art blog. I’ll even draw Damara if you request her. :’)  Though the AU as a whole has had its ups and downs it was active for a long while with stings of new members and casual conversation.  Under the cut I’m going to give into my nostalgia and try to cut the pain of losing this wonderful community with memories. 

When I first joined this AU I had only one other ask blog as the time, @ask-obsequious-mr-equius which was difficult enough to run on its own. I noticed mathes0n/aradia-paradia had joined the AU and I thought it would be nice to join an AU someone I consider my idol to be in. They had Aradia Pyrope in the AU and I thought being Damara would be a good choice. I could interact with them without coming off as too weird (though I probably failed at that, ha ha.) 

Entering the AU hardly took any time and I began developing character relationships. It was so exciting to have a bunch of people to bounce off of in the creative process and I’d never really experienced anything like it before. 

There were lots of dramatic moments, lots of underlying tensions, but that happens when everyone is as closely interlinked as we were. I did a bit to help with this, and I admit I’m very proud of my influence. I wrote a constitution for the AU which was way more fun than it sounds, ha ha. Its all settled down since then, not so many bitter leavings or fights. I hope that if anyone in the AU needs my help they know they can come to me because I love and care about all of them.

@askporrimnitram Kay was one of the prescratch trolls whose been around as long as I can remember. Some of my worst feelings about leaving are because I’ll be leaving her. We developed so much between Porrim and Damara and its always been so fun to interact with her. She’s always been very polite and understanding and kind. I’ll miss her a lot since we aren’t in any other AUs together. I’ll try to keep contact though.

@ask-the-dirkcrocker Gil has been very kind to me. Its hard to really express what they mean to me, but its a lot. We haven’t always talked much, but we had about two weeks where we talked nonstop and I felt like I could really rely on them. It was an eye opening experience and a good look into their personality. I’m in a few other AUs with Gil so this isn’t goodbye and I’m very grateful for that.

@askthetyriantuna Dusty is a good person. I love talking with him. Plotting Mituna’s and Damara’s relationship was one of my favorite times in the AU. Though Mituna isn’t so nice sometimes he and Damara are close and he’s protective of her in a way. It was pretty damn adorable, even if he went about all that stuff in a very Mituna-esque fashion. Dusty has always been very polite and kind and passionate. He has a sort of quietness about him but when you talk about something he likes he gets excited and I love seeing that in him. We’re not in any other AUs together... But I hope I can keep talking with him. I’ll try, that’s for sure.

@askjanestrider Seer is such a creative and interesting and cool person. I love their art. They’ve been friendly to me and helpful when I needed guidance. They’re a good listener and a good friend. We’re in more AUs together so this isn’t goodbye. Every time I get to say that this feels a little less sad.

@ask-le-jake-lalonde Nerd is a smart person a good artist and a good leader. I’m glad the AU is entrusted in her hands. She is a nice person who is just so fun to RP with and develop characters with. Being in this Bloodswap AU is how I met them and so many others and the reason I was able to join so many AUs and I’m really happy for that. She’s a smart cookie and I can’t undersell how much she means to me as a part of my life. We’re still in AUs together and still developing characters together. c:

@ask-jadeishkankri Alhena/Alpha/my misspelling of their name Alhema, is a rad person. We didn’t have a chance to interact in character very much, heck, hardly at all. But we’ve become really close ooc and I’ve trusted them with a lot of personal things. They really have earned that trust and they deserve it. If I were you I would shower them with attention and good asks, like everyone on this list. We’re in some more AUs together which makes me happy, but I’m sure we’d still talk even if we weren’t. 

@ask-vriskamegido Bear is a cool person and a cool artist. They’re polite and rad. And v nice and we’ve talked a bit. Not too much but they’ve still left an impression and I think that’s cool cause it shows how cool they are in my opinion. I RPed a little with them and it was really fun. We still have some AUs in common so maybe I can talk some more. 

@ask-bronze-mule Lizard my dude. You’re a cool person and I’m glad I met you. You’re just awesome, your characters are all really unique and you just have a very cheery disposition that I feel spreads to the people around you and that’s just such a great thing. I’m glad we’ll be in AUs together still and that we’ll get to interact more. I’d hate to miss out on your awesomeness :D

There are a lot of cool people in the AU who I haven’t named who deserve your attention and love. They’ve all made great things and I wish I had the literary abilities to tell each and everyone of them what they mean to me.   There are also a lot of people who have left the AU before me who are wonderful and beautiful people. I’ve had great times with you and though they’ve been gone for a while now I want you to know that you’ve all meant a lot to me.

If you’ve read this whole thing, congrats you have way more patience than I do, ha ha. But I’m just... Glad I can leave this AU on a high note. Thank you everyone, from AU members to past cohorts to my followers for making this such a lovely experience.
